i called the NVC today they received our case on 4/30...

Can somebody please tell how much time will it take approximately from this point till the inteview?

Hello! Based on current trends, you'll most likely be assigned a case number either May 29th or 30th. From there, it's likely you'll receive an email (as bdrew explained above) within a week, so June 5th or 6th. It can take roughly a month or more to case complete, so July 7-11 may be a likely timeframe, and then from there, it depends on your consulate's availability of interviews, but they also seem to over a month out from case complete, so my estimation would be mid to late August depending on your consulate.

It's just speculation right now. If you take a look at the June Interview thread, you can find a spreadsheet there showing people's trends from case complete to interview assignment and then their actual interview date.

I'm hoping the IV fee is invoiced this week, and then my husband is going to overnight the packet. REALLY hoping for a case complete by the end of the month! I got high hopes LOL

im a sep 2013 filer too i just got my case number im happy that at least we got something but im still thinking that its taking more than its supposed to be am i right Brother ?

could you please tell me what step you are on ? did you get a date for your interview ?

I thought that too until I started to understand the process a little more. I didn't think it was going to take a week for the D-261.

we have US driving licence, Bank account statement, Credit card statement to prove domicile.. is this enough or need to have any other documents. she is being with me in India from last 7 months...

just called NVC they assigned a case number

on MAY 6th....also got the IIN from the operator n she did mention i could log in between 8-20 days lets hope is faster than that!!! woo hoo im happy closer closer ? =D

Okay got some text messages today from USCIS. The 129f was dismissed. The i130 hasn't updated on the website yet. But I'm assuming it is approved?

I was told that USCIS updates with in 24 hours. I got an email message from TSC on my approval, then at 10 pm at night I got a message from USCIS site that my case was approved. So its a good sign
