I am right there with you too. I got an RFE that I sent back to them on 04/22/2013. Its at the post office and supposed to have been delivered by 12:00 noon. I am watching usps.com like a hawk.

Hi guys, long time no speak, things have been a little crazy down in the Deep South!

Spoke to NVC this morning and they've assigned a case number and I'm waiting for an email from them to tell me what it is. Once I've received it, I can then pay the $88 AOS fee.

No idea what happens after that or how long it's going to take. The whole thing is getting on my t**s.

Welcome back!!!! Great news; NVC moves much faster than USCIS! This nightmare could be over in a couple months!

There's an NVC thread you can check out if you want, it is a bit all over the place BUT in the first post Saylin has links in her siganture that will walk you through NVC perfectly!

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

Hey did you received an email notification about your case number and IIN. Because, what I observed in NVC thread is that it takes around 7 days to receive the email from NVC. When i called NVC, the guy told me that case has been updated in their system on last Friday, hence I am expecting case number by next Monday and so.

Married on : 2012/10/15

USCIS

NOA 1: 2013/03/09

Transfered : 2014/02/25

NOA 2: 2014/03/10

Yes that is how I look at it too. did you email Rendell Jones? Rendell.jones@dhs.gov

He is an acting deputy for USCIS. He will send it to someone and they will get back to you with in 2 weeks.

*On 08/01/14 I received a checklist via email and responded right away. Over a month later, on 09/09/14, I received the hard-copy in the mail. Upon reading the hard-copy, I found that NVC made a mistake and emailed me the wrong checklist. I contacted a supervisor at NVC and she instructed me to write a letter of explanation to accompany my "real" checklist response. She also told me this may not help me and that we may be back in line. Lord help us!
