Tomorrow is the 15th days since I put in the service request and still haven't heard anything yet. Filed on 11 September.

If i don't hear anything by tomorrow I can call again and put in another SR - which means I then have to wait another 15 days before I can call again…………...

Wow- You have been waiting so long. I really hope you are approved soon. What service center is your application at right now?

I was thinking last night, since they refuse to allow you to open a service request, and you're not in the US to make an InfoPass appointment, maybe you could jump right to the Ombudsman and address your issues?

if you don't hear anything by tomorrow ask them to do an express message it will be 5 days more for that response not 15 days more. 5 is better than 15.

I agree 100%. This process they have needs to be updated to completely electronic. that way they wouldn't have to worry about misplacing any files or marking boxes # of #. They could scan everything in an be done with it...:idea::idea:

I just got notification of an RFE. I will wait for the mail to tell me what they are looking for. I am ready I already have documentation in a manila envelope. I will only send them what they ask for. Please update the spreadsheet for me. Ill take the RFE at least they are looking at my file.

I have some email addresses for you and the ombudsman's name… now that November are being given NOA2 - which is so depressing - its time to jump on board the "stir up train"……..

Start here and copy all to one email

Lori.Scialabba@dhs.gov, donald.w.neufeld@uscis.dhs.gov, Rendell.jones@dhs.gov

Mention the USCIS Ombudsman by make - Maria Odum - and say you are copying here AND Rob Cowan AND Jim McCament - all HQ people who they don't want being

harassed by emails. They will jump onto this. I mentioned in my email the release of emails regarding errors in processing in order at NSC because of lack of labeling boxes.

Do it right now!! Be polite, well mannered but very to the point of enough is enough - I am watching November people being processed and my wife and I have heard nothing since…….

I think it's a customer service escalation if the other options aren't satisfied. Given that they're unwilling to help you with a service request and you're unable to make an InfoPass, to me the Ombudsman is the only option to find out what the hell is going on with your case.

the thing that irritates me the most is, those spouses that are already in the USA with their US citizen spouses, there paperwork is happening within 5 months. All of it. I know three couples like that, who applied after I did and already have their cases adjusted. I understand that we are outside the country but we are away from our loved ones and it takes longer for them to process our I-130's over the ones that are already in the country. YOu would think family re-unification priority would take over for spouses that are further away. Oh well. Such is life!!! :ranting: Just me ranting!!! LOL!!

August 2nd PD and they wont let us file a SR because its undergoing background check.............so i dont think its just got to do with the date. they will come up with other hoops.......
