Common people we all ready accepted a longer wait time when we started this process now since the GOV is partially shutdown we have a lil bit more of that. Don't get me wrong I wish for all of us to fly thru the process but there is nothing we can do so far. I am too sitting here missing hubby like crazy and wish I could be home soon but I have to remind me every time that if I am getting more and more upset about this situation it will not help us and my personal well being. I really hope the shutdown is not taking to long but who knows. The is a reason behind of all of this and somehow it has been working out (this year been great for us so far) and I am not willing to let the bad thinking upset me so much think positive I really know it is hard for each of you and your individual situation, but keep up hopeing it will benefit u in the end

Well, I think everyone knows that getting angry is not going to help.

But... I can't just accept it. That would mean I don't care anymore. And I do. Care. A lot.

But, for the sake of my sanity- I just gotta vent sometimes. ranting33va.gif

Hi Murf an Reggie,

Yes you are right about two things , we must stay positive and yes we are common people accepting crumbs from the great white table...

We have no choice but to remain hopeful and patient yet it helps to vent a little as well.

Just so frustrating that it appears Govt say one thing and do another. Another part of me feels sure they (Govt) wll not be wanting to give up all that extra revenue either so maybe its just a way for Homeland Security to catch up on obviously a back log.

Stay strong guys- one day this will all be behind us!

I'll be sure to keep you posted. smile.png It took FOREVER (IMHO) to receive the hard copy. Perhaps it's because we're abroad (i.e. Canada).

Oops! I'm sure by the time we get a NOA2 I will have obsessed over the name Overland so many times I will never forget it or confuse it with Oakland ever again. rolleyes.gif

Yep. yes.gif

If this furlough affects anyone, it'd be me, since I am an employee under furlough right now, so I've got that on my plate instead of just waiting a little longer for my husband's visa (if it did take any effect on USCIS). Woe is me.
