Did any NSC transfers who got approval not receive "On March 31, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly." message? I was approved on Monday March 31 but have't received this message yet. :(

Okay, so I'm a little ticked off. I just called the USCIS costumer service number and after waiting almost 2 hours to speak to a Tier 2 representative (couldn't use the call back feature because I'm calling from Mexico), the girl tried to tell me that we were NOT outside of the "normal" processing times because we were transferred to NSC 30 days ago and the timeframe for NSC is 5 months. What a load of #######! I told her, "so you mean to tell me that because our case was transferred 5 months after the original date, the timeframe starts over again?" She told me no, that's not how it works and that she still would not be able to process a service request for me. I really don't even feel like calling back and waiting another 2 hours to see if someone else will tell me something different. :(

I would definitely call back. I called two days ago, waited 5 minutes and got a service request. I filed on 11th Sept and transferred to NSC on 26th Feb.

How did you know your case was approved if you did not receive the message??

Yep, I'm still here :-) I updated the sheet, thanks for letting us know!

How did you know your case was approved if you did not receive the message??

VNBCI130 was referring to the notification that the petition has been shipped. Not everyone gets that notification after approval.

Thank you so much. Visa Journey has been such a great support system. I am sure you will get your approval soon as well. I actually called them 3 times yesterday. I am wondering if that helped. We still have more to do but I am glad we got over the first step in this horrible process.
