Aren't most of the K-1 processed at the service centers and not at the NBC? I really don't understand why the government is processing them faster than I-130s, which are for spouses. Makes no sense to me and upsets me greatly as well. Ugh.

What do you mean going to stop? Can you give me a link? You probably mentioned it earlier but I just don't remember.

I read it in a print newspaper. I think you did ask me about it a while ago, r060. It was written by an immigration attorney. I don't think I have the newspaper anymore--I probably recycled it. But, it said that they planned to process those visas quickly for Permanent Residents because they didn't have a lot of applicants and they wanted to reset the demand. They planned to close the quick approval timeframe when September ended.

Yes, they are processed at service centers. This one I posted was approved at Vermont Service Center.

The service centers used to process I-130 as well. Up until August of last year. That's when everything with I-130s went downhill :(

F2A must be "current" as they have caps on these kind of visas.
