Why is CSC skipping files transferred on March 3rd?

I just don't get this randomness of approval...

I know there are people who are in the same boat from the pervious months, but it just irritates me to be skipped...

I have resigned myself to the fact that is is probably going to take about 6-8 weeks to get to NVC and then get a case number. Seems it goes quite quick after that though.

Thanks darlin. Really doesn't help that hubby recently left too. Today is my Monday for feeling like #######.

I'm trying my best not to fall apart. I'm SUPER happy for my PD buddy, but I'm also wondering why I haven't heard anything yet. Sigh.

Another update 10 minutes ago:

On March 25, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I'm really pulling for the rest of the 9/6-10 NSC transfers. We should have been processed 2 weeks ago and I hope we all get our turn by this week end!

Wait a week after NOA2 date and give them a call. State your USCIS case number and simply ask if they have received your case from TSC. If they haven't, keep calling 2-3 times a week till they have.

Otherwise you can call USCIS and specifically ask for a Tier 2 and enquire about the date your case was physically shipped to NVC.

From reading NVC thread, TSC files are received within 2-3 weeks from NOA2. It could be faster now. Your best bet, is to look at Saylin's spreadsheet and focus on TSC filers approved in the last 2 months, and see how long they waitied from NOA2 to NVC case received to get an approx timeline.

How long does NVC takes to give us case number, what I know is 30 days, is that correct?? Hopefully now there shouldn't be any waiting period.

I called USCIS yesterday and the Tier 2 refused to tell me if my case was shipped. I'm going to just call NVC twice a week until they get it. They're nicer than the knobs at USCIS anyway.

On March 26, 2014, we transferred this case to your USCIS local field office for additional processing. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators.

If you have filed an I-485, I-589, I-751, N-400, I-90, I-821, I-131 or I-765, you can expect to receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints and/or photographs taken.
