not sure what you are asking but if you are asking bout my expedite request i ask them to expedite on humanitarian grounds..Due to the political unrest and fearing for our safety also my husband can not look for work due to this chaos..Just a few minutes ago there was a demonstration walking thru by our flat for the second time in a month right next to a young boys school and this time fights broke out...very scary and sad there are women and children out there in them streets and my husband is out today looking at another place more secure than here..praying he dont run into those crazy people

Thanks! Waiting for our little Polak definitely makes the time go faster. We have something to look forward to, instead of constantly having to wait for USCIS to get moving. It makes it harder and easier at the same time. I hope she's able to be here soon too. We believe God gave us this child as a sign that we will be together someday and just need to trust in Him, and that He won't let us down.

Yes, constant communication is key! I chat with my wife on my phone via skype all the time, even when I'm at work. Instead of having to pay gobs of money to send texts we just send skype chats and it all works out! Yeah, I know exactly what you mean with hurting each other's feelings. There definitely is a culture and language barrier to get around and overcome. But with time and love anything can be worked out, even in distance over skype. Just think of how strong couples like us become compared to "normal" couples who see each other every day. The process is designed to weed out people, but I think it does the exact opposite and makes them a stronger couple and grows their love. If that makes sense. Yeah, we send gifts and letters too. Those are always the most special - something tangible you can touch and even sometimes smell makes the other person feel so much closer and helps get through the distance.

That is a great way of looking at it, and you're both fortunate to have the love that you have to keep you strong through this temporary separation. I truly believe that we have special relationships because instead of taking the easy route and finding someone close and more convenient, God blessed us with our other halves in other places and made it a little challenging to us to see if we truly deserve the person we love with the hard work and patience we have to put in. The greatest things in life are never easy to get and it takes hard work to achieve true happiness.

And that is so true! I didn't think about "weeding" people out. In that case, I can understand the waiting process part of this whole visa fiasco, especially when legit couples are working so hard to be with their loved ones when fradulent people who just want to immigrate try to cheat the legal system. I'm so glad you said, something tangible and something you can smell! I'm glad I'm not the only one! haha. I always make him wear a shirt all day the last day when he's here, and I have that to sleep with at night and just whenever I miss him. Works like a charm. And I agree. We are definitely stronger in our relationship than some people we know who jump quickly into relationships and live together without getting to know each other first. Pretty sure I know him better than I know myself now and vice versa. He truly is my best friend.

No luv if u marry in the US and the foreign spouse returns to the home country everything is fine. If u plan ur marriage and your spouse is getting to the US and stays there then it is against the law.

If ur spouse is coming for a visit without the intention to get married in the US but it is happing during the visit then u can file for a green card then ur spouse can stay and u could file from the US

Yep! Mine came on a VWP, we got married, went on honeymoon, and then he went back to the UK ... and here we are waiting. Sigh.

He'll be here to visit in ONE week though!!

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

ok i see thanks for letting me know i was just told that a tourist visa is a tourist visa and if you had got married while you were on that visa uscis would look badly on it congrats again tho and i am rying as hard as possible to get this expedited on humanitariun grounds and i just found out i am pregnant this morning

Here is the latest (March 2013) performance data from USCIS pertaining to the amount of I-130's they've received, approved, and denied.

Yeah ... seeing some light on actual numbers didn't help how I feel about this process, but at least I know what I'm working with rather than guessing. Wonder what those numbers look like now in September. Worse or better, who knows.

Oh geez .. total completions from all USCIS locations vs pending ... shield your eyes. 168,258 Completed. 1,062,526 Pending.

But these stats are for NBC/Missouri. Not NBC/Kansas.

Hopefully next week we will start seeing approvals from Overland Park. Petitions have been piling up there since May.

They may as well be fully operational by Halloween. Or something.

Yeah and the fiscal year's end is October 1st. Wonder if this whole "goverment shutdown" furloughs and what not would affect USCIS since they are not federally funded (though it would seem they would take any excuse to not do their jobs). I don't think it'll happen anyway because the last time it did was 1996 and the Senate have apparently already approved actions towards preventing a shutdown. - I've been hearing about this stuff non-stop at work.
