Hey Ajmuk

Do you know if NVC have received your case yet as you received your NOA2 a while ago now. We were approved from TSC on the 21st and I was wondering how long they are taking to send the case there?

2013/9/17 - Mailed I-130

2013/9/20 - Received NOA1

2014/2/26 - Transferred to TSC

2014/3/21 - Received email NOA2

2014/3/21 - I-130 Approved

2014/3/26 - Email received File Received

2014/4/02 - NVC received file

2014/5/1 - Case Number and IIN assigned

2014/5/7 - DS-261 available and completed

2014/5/8 - AOS invoice available and paid

2014/5/9 - AOS showing as paid

2014/5/20 - AOS Package sent

2014/6/3 - AOS Scanned and Under Review

2014/6/9 - IV Fee Invoice available and Paid

2014/6/10 - DS-260 available

2014/6/10 - IV package couriered to NVC

2014/6/10 - IV invoice showing Paid

2014/6/11 - DS-260 submitted

2014/6/16 - IV package delivered to NVC

2014/6/20 - IV package scanned

2014/7/11 - Received Checklist for AOS - one tiny thing!

2014/9/12 - AOS Checklist accepted

2024/10/27 - called NVC to be advised last scanned document is now September 17th, an email I sent early August and they looked at on September 17th.

2014/9/17 - last scanned date. Waiting for a Case Complete.

2014/10/30 - CASE COMPLETE

2014/11/10 - Interview Scheduled

2014/12/23 - Interview - going to try to move up a week but we will see.

2014/12/2 - interview and APPROVED

2014/12/18 - Smooth and quick POE at LAX then onto JFK by domestic

Well, it's official! We got our NOA2 in the mail today saying our I130 was sent to NVC. The notice date is March 17th. I can't wait for the next step!

Thanks for the hope, everyone! And for those that are still waiting, I'm sure you'll be approved soon. In a year, we'll look back at this with our significant others and laugh :).

*On 08/01/14 I received a checklist via email and responded right away. Over a month later, on 09/09/14, I received the hard-copy in the mail. Upon reading the hard-copy, I found that NVC made a mistake and emailed me the wrong checklist. I contacted a supervisor at NVC and she instructed me to write a letter of explanation to accompany my "real" checklist response. She also told me this may not help me and that we may be back in line. Lord help us!

Omg omg omg ... just 10 minutes ago I saw my status was still in inital review ... but just saw it again ... I got approved.... I am jumping all over the place ...

Hahahaha! Just kidding! I figured out the spread sheet. :idea: Everyone please forgive me, I am overwhelmed AND I am not anything computer related savvy.

We finally got the RFE hardcopy with instructions today and where able to reply and send the needed info this afternoon! Hopefully our case won't get stuck and an NOA2 will be here next week?!! Feeling hopeful. :dance:

Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the requested information. This case will be in suspense until we receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once we receive the requested evidence or information and make a decision on the case, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.
