I'll add one more thing; there will not be a spreadsheet created on this thread for those of us who moved to the NVC stage. There's already a spreadsheet to track those in the NVC thread and I certainly don't want to step on the admin's toes and create confusion smile.png

First, thank you!!

Second, admins on the other monthly threads attempted to start that but it was poo-pooed (since there's already a spreadsheet). Soooo, I shan't be adding that column (although I'm dying to LOL).

~~From a moderation standpoint, if you wish to add the column to your existing spreadsheet, you may do so. I don't see any problem with it.~~

Awesome, thanks! One of the admins from the other sheet did it and I guess it didn't go over well lol

I don't see any issue, but I didn't want to be a toe-stepper.

With that greenlight, I'll toy around with the sheet, everyone :-)

This is what our RFE said:

All it said was:

"Submit a legible copy (those words are underlined) of the marriage certificate for Paul Mantikoski and Jacqueline Brabant. The certificate must indicate that after the marriage ceremony, it was registered or recorded by the county, state or province."

"The marriage certificate submitted does not show evidence of being civilly registered with the county clerk. The document must show the page and book numbers in which the event was recorded."

We had not gotten a verified copy of our marriage certificate ... Can't believe we did that the one we got was the one right after we were married lol

My hubby will go Monday to get it! Easy thing to get! Hope all RFE's are just as easy!!

What kind did you get right after being married? We were married here in Toronto, Ontario and all I had was the Record of Solemnization of Marriage which we got right after our wedding in 2002, and they accepted that and we were approved. I did obtain a certified copy of our marriage license though for the NVC and to take to my interview eventually.

My PD is 9/6/13

Transferred on 2/27/14 to CSC

and nothing since, I'm getting frustrated of this randomness of approval.

Can an admin add me to the spreadsheet?

Thanks

Very fortunate to have our case both expedited at stage 1 and stage 3..Still we had to suffer through all the anxiety that comes with the paperwork and not knowing the timeline..

Our case was given final approval today at the US Embassy in Manila.

I'm sure better times are ahead for all of you,,It's crazy how long they make you wait.
