Does anyone know what more they will want? Will it just be more of the same requirements as the original I-130? I want to prepare as much as I can now, and try to keep our case rolling. I sent them EVERYTHING and more. To be completely honest, we were stupefied by the RFE. I am the USC, and I left my home and career and family to marry my husband in Serbia. I thought that would say a lot…

And actually the brighter side for us is that now I know, without a doubt, that I made the right choice to come to Serbia. We initially filled an I-129F, but for fear of waiting so long (at that time a year+) and the possibility to be denied, really pushed me to come. I really believe that USCIS would have denied our I-129F if they are asking for more documentation to prove a legitimate marriage while we live together 6,000 miles away from anything familiar. I am sad but I will sleep well knowing all my sacrifices were good choices and came from love.

*On 08/01/14 I received a checklist via email and responded right away. Over a month later, on 09/09/14, I received the hard-copy in the mail. Upon reading the hard-copy, I found that NVC made a mistake and emailed me the wrong checklist. I contacted a supervisor at NVC and she instructed me to write a letter of explanation to accompany my "real" checklist response. She also told me this may not help me and that we may be back in line. Lord help us!

My PD is 9/6 and got transferred to CSC on 2/25.

Initially i said I got transferred but now it said ARN changed.

I have been following the spreadsheet and does look like CSC stoped issuing NOA after right at the 2/24 transfer, I might be wrong, any thought?

Oh also, is there a way I could maybe use our pregnancy as additional evidence? I can't provide a birth certificate because she's not born yet (JULY!). Would a letter suffice? Could I just write USCIS up and be like "Hey, we're having a baby, due in July. So speed it up!"? Sounds like solid proof to me! Maybe we'll get a sappy officer overlooking our petition and they'll be like "awwe! a baby! approved!" hahaha. I think I'm just experiencing crazy pregnancy dreams/daydreams.

Anyways, should I write a letter with my RFE response saying we're having a baby? Can't hurt, right?

That makes sense, just not in the USCIS world. Pregnancy isn't grounds for an expedite. Sorry sad.png

Congratulations on the pregnancy though!!

EDIT: That said, it couldn't hurt :)

Not trying to expedite, well, it would be nice. But since I got an RFE I'm thinking it should be pretty decent evidence, I'm assuming. Bah! Thanks though!

We were approved on Friday the 7th, but just got our hard copy transfer notice in the mail yesterday saying it went to CSC, so I guess the approval letter will be in the mail sometime later this week. I wonder if there's a delay in getting the postal mail because we are both in Canada.

I don't recommend sending USCIS anything other than what they specifically ask for in the RFE.
