Thanks... that made me smile smile.png

I do know that my hubby forgot to sign the second page of his G-325. I hope that that is all that is required!

I'm a complete novice when it comes to these kinds of forums and threads. Where would I even look for something like that? It's hard to say what exactly they are missing...

Second page? G-325A is only 1 page, unless he needed additional page to answer the questions?

Wheezy, edit the receipt number. You shouldn't be posting it online.

I hope it's just that! If you check in the earlier I-130 Filers threads, there may be someone who was issued an RFE and was able to speak with a Tier 2 before receiving the hardcopy....

If your husband doesn't receive the hardcopy within 2 weeks (he's the petitioner, right?) I would have him call and speak with a Tier 2 to let them know you still haven't received your RFE notice - you might be able to schedule an InfoPass at that point, too. Just to find out what the hell they need.

I don't want to scare you, but there's been cases when people had their I-130 denied because they didn't 'respond to the RFE in time' when in fact they did not receive it in the first place! You get 84 days to respond to your RFE, too. Weird number, I know.

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

Thanks Blueberry! Done!

Yes, we both needed a second page for additional information. They are saying it's additional and not initial so I'm not sure if they need that for that was part of the initial package... i'm confused. Just gotta wait until we get the notice I guess.

Good to know... thanks for the heads up!

If we don't receive the RFE notice by monday (last time our notice came on the Friday after we received the email) we will contact USCIS and try and find out what's happening.

Is the interview a mandatory step or are there ever files that don't need an interview??

You mean at USEM? Definitely mandatory.

I believe interviews are mandatory for all beneficiaries. Some countries require the petitioner to be present, some countries 'recommend' the petitioner to be present and some say the petitioner cannot attend.

Given that you're in Canada, I can't imagine the petitioner needing to be present at the interview. Says the girl who really has no idea how Canada works :)

Upon reading the hard-copy, I found that NVC made a mistake and emailed me the wrong checklist. I contacted a supervisor at NVC and she instructed me to write a letter of explanation to accompany my "real" checklist response. She also told me this may not help me and that we may be back in line. Lord help us!

The brighter side of this is your files are being worked on. Some of us went to NSC and our files are basically just collecting a dust again after collecting dust for 6 months. We don't even know when our files will be approved. cray5ol.gif

That's a good point, VNBC. I was hoping for sure NSC was moving along with those dern ARNs changing. Which definitely seems to be a glitch only happening at NSC. Ahhhh USCIS.

It seems like those change in ARNs still get approved within hours or a day in July forums. So I wonder if NSC changed our ARNs and are doing backgroud checks? Who knows? I keep speculating..For fellow NSCers, the brighter side is NSC has been kicking out lots of approval recently with remaining May/Jun and already started July (they only had a handful of July). So once they are done, they will jump directly on September. So again, I am speculating that early Sep transfers to NSC should see approvals by the end of March.
