my PD is 9/26 and got transferred on 3/5 to NSC :( and yesterday i received this email

On March 7, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at [/size]www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.[/size]

Can somebody please tell me what is this suppose to mean?

We're not quite sure what this means, could mean an RFE or could mean nothing at all

Who knows what this means

"The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283"

I have received several mails from them from the first one that notified me of the transfer on the 4th of March and another on of a transfer on the 5th of March and now this.

I can gladly add you to the September spreadsheet, but first could you please create your timelines? Thanks so much!

And, when giving me the information to be added to the spreadsheet, please give me your Priority Dates, not your NOA1 date (you'll have to look at your I-797 hard copy to get your priority date).

Your Case Status: Request for Evidence


On March 7, 2014, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the requested information. This case will be in suspense until we receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once we receive the requested evidence or information and make a decision on the case, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

No idea what they want yet - hopefully it's something simple.

Hi guys,

How do we know if approved petitions are shipped to NVC or not? I know that it is possible to call to NVC to check if it is there or not after 10 to 15 days from the approved date. But is there a way to know if approved files are shipped to NVC or not? Thanks!
