It's taking roughly a month to get a case number from NVC because (drum roll please) they're BACKLOGGED!!!!

Beyond the NVC stage, I think it really depends on the country of the beneficiary (in terms of getting a medical and time to interview). I would give a rough estimate of 3-5 months. We're only halfway through the jungle with an I-130 approval :/

Well one question. I am Indian citizen but staying in Singapore. When my wife filed the application for me I was in Singapore ( currently also). So in my case, country of beneficiary will be???

Congratulations @shanijav!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited to see another September approval. And conrgats to everyone who got transferred last night!

I can't wait to see more approvals. Can't get enough. @bdrew612 Maybe you and your hubby will be together when you get the NOA2!

In other news, I couldn't sleep last night so I worked on NVC paperwork hahah. Since I got my transfer, I had been getting documents together, but I never expected to be approved so quickly. I woke up this morning and thought it was all a dream. I had to go and verify my NOA1 to make sure it was the right receipt number.
