Thank you!!!!!!!

I've followed this thread since the beginning, and I can't even tell you how much VJ has helped me through six very difficult months of waiting. I moved to Algeria two months before we filed for immigration, after having met and lived with my husband in France. I was a student in Paris and he was, of all things, a fishmonger who sold me oysters at an outdoor market. He asked me if I wanted to get a drink with him, and I turned him down, only to come back an hour later and say yes. After five months of being inseparable, we got married in Paris! I then withdrew from my university to come to Algeria and be with him while we went through immigration. As I'm not authorized to work here, the months have felt like years. So that's our story.

I want nothing more than to see my fellow Sept filers transferred and approved! My husband says hello and good luck to everyone :)

I still can't believe this is happening! Is it because I filed from abroad?

Hopefully they're rushing everyone who had their first date in Paris! It was also there that I met my wife. :)

That must be it! So thankful for Paris. And now I'm forever indebted to the state of California. I will have to take a loooong vacation there once I move stateside with my hubby ;)

I got the same message, what is going on ??? what does this mean ?

On March 4, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

NBC= National Benefits Center, Lee's Summit, MO. Your file was originally routed there and now being transferred to another service center. USCIS is part of Department of Homeland Security.

NVC= National Visa Center. Next step after I-130 approval. NVC is part of Department of State

Received this notice: On March 3, 2014, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. I don't know what this means, but finally some movement.
