Her PD is 10/7. Approved 2/21. No DCF, not filed from abroad, not for F2A visa, not AOS, not an expedite.

I'm baffled.

Lucky her, though!

That what I said to her!

I was mainly referring to the folks from 9/20 and 9/23. On the transfer paper, I know the PD is blank (why, I don't know - isn't that what we'd use to make a case inquiry if we get out of processing times?).

I'm wondering about the original receipt. If people can please double check, that would be great!

Filed: Timeline

Hi there, would it make sense to add another column to the speardsheet to indicate the immigration status of the petitioner: US Citizen vs. LPR?

It appears that not all of the USCIS service centers process I-130's filed by LPRs. For example, NSC seems to target only I-130's filed by US Citizens. Otherwise I see no other reason why the USCIS website gives no processing time for NSC for I-130's filed by LPRs, only for Citizens' petitions. Many fear to be transfered to NSC, but if you are an LPR then you probably won't because NSC does deal with the I-130's from the LPR pool. Or am I mistaken here?

At any rate, I would suggest to add a column to the spreadsheet reflecting the petitioner's immigration status: USC vs LPR. It'll make the picture clearer.

Thanks.

I think a lot of LPRs use the Bringing Family Members of Permanent Residents to America forum here, because timelines for LPRs and USCs are hugely different. Even though we're all using the I-130 there's really no apples to apples comparison for how long the process will take. But my two cents, maybe a general notes column would be a good thing to add, to capture things like LPR status as well as any other special circumstances such as filing from abroad or DCF.

Well, this forum is for IR-1/CR-1, not for F2As or other family preference categories. These have their own forum http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/112-bringing-family-members-of-permanent-residents-to-america/

I don't think we should be adding LPRs to our spreadsheet.

Also, Nebraska processes both I-130s/F2A AND I-130s/CR1.

Thank you, VNBC!

You seem to have some magic skills in predicting what will USCIS' next move be.. so let's all hope you are right about NSC! smile.png

*hugs*

I think your wife will receive an ARN upon approval.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

EDIT: We received our hard copy letter and it is indeed NSC.

And a supplemental letter with "If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action within 60 days, please call Customer Service [...]"

Also, PD box is left blank. Receipt Date is filled in though and says 9/9.

I checked the weather forecast for Lincoln, NE and they should not get any snow in March! so no snow days for them, yay.

Haha thank you for giving me so much credit. My gut says we will get approved sooner than later..I say in less than 30 days. So before the end of March. Keeping my fingers crossed.

are you sure that NSC processes I-130F2A? because there is no NSC to choose on uscis website to check processing times, only CSC , TSC and VSC.

Yup, pretty sure...

You won't find this info on USCIS website. It just says I-130 but I-130s are filed for IR-1/CR-1, Adjustment of Status, family preference categories, and I-601A (provisional waivers) and who knows what else :P

Transferred to NCS

*HUG*

I hope it will turn out to be a good thing! Have been seeing approvals from there almost every day now. They should be done with their backlog soon!

I'm not adding another column to the spreadsheet. As Blueberry stated, non-USCs applying for family members are in a different category.

If you have an expedited case, let me know. If the beneficiary is from the Phillippines (I'm not sure if those are still being expedited, though), let me know.

9/20 and 9/23 people in the spreadsheet: can you please double check your PD? biggrin.png
