Well that sucks big time

What exactly is a T2? just someone with slightly more authority?

Hi AJMUK,

Yes a Tier 1 officer can only see the record information you can see when you log on to the USCIS website... and answer general questions. They cannot see the specifics of your actual file status.... so they transfer you to a Tier 2 officer and they can look at your complete file. They guy I talked to assured me nothing had changed yet on my file or status.

I just spoke to a Tier 2 representative and he confirmed that my case was transferred to TSC!

Might be hopeful thinking, but we can probably assume that the rest of yesterday's transfers were sent there also.

Are you ok?

Yeah, I think I was bottling things up for too long bc I'm not one to share my problems with other people (except my husband) and when I was speaking to my manager, it just all sort of came out. I don't bring my personal problems to work and have a clear definition between home and work, but I wanted to let him know what was going on with my stresses at home (also have some health issues going on) and I just sorta started choking up. I'm still embarrassed but all is well. It was like a therapy session. lol Luckily my work hasn't been affected but I guess I just needed to let things off my chest in case I did need to change things at work too.

Well I'm even more confused now. I just called USCIS and there was a recorded message asking me to type in my case number, which I did, and then another automated message told me my case has been transferred to Lees Summit, Missouri.

I just called as well and they said the same thing.. Than I spoke to someone that explained to me that it said Lee Summit because than they sent it to my local service center and said in my case it would be the one in Houston, Texas ( where I'm located) and that they are the ones who will make a decision.. Hmmmmmmmm ??!!! interesting!!! sounds weird

You shouldn't be embarrassed at all. You're human, you're allowed :)

I speak from personal experience. I had a similar incident in my office back in 1996. Not fun, and it led to a 7 year leave of absence (long story) but never feel embarrassed about being human. Sometimes people need to see that we have a delicate side x

Hmm. Maybe that explains why I broke down in front of my manager today ... unsure.png Yup, looks like I don't always have rainbows shooting out of my butt all the time. Thank God Hubs will be here next week.

Aww! Don't worry we are going to get transferred soon! I had a mini meltdown too with my hubby all childish with foot stomping and everything saying why are we not being transferred?! LOL My PD is the same as yours so crossing my fingers that we find out soon enough. But hey your hubby is going to be with you next week! Yeay! dancin5hr.gifgoofy.gif

Blueberry Pancake I wish you and all the NSC transfers a speedy process.

I am so seriously thinking about going the expedite way... since he is in Egypt and things are not very well at the moment.

Hey there September,

Just got off the phone with tier 2, and I was transferred to CSC! PD Sept 3, Feb 24 transfer. Bdrew, first off, thank you for doing such a great job with the spreadsheet. Would you please update the service center for me?

Wanted to say to those transferred to NSC that I wish you all the very best of luck. USCIS is known for being unpredictable, so I hope that means with NSC we'll see a huge turnaround with their slow processing.

Can't wait to see the rest of September transferred. Especially that missing week!

ESPECIALLY THE MISSING WEEK :'( USCIS strikes again! Lol. Really sucks but what are we gonna do? been waiting all this time what's a few more days hopefully, right?!? Trying to appease my own self :) why o why did they just omit my entire week!!! Uggghhhhh! Ok I'm done, feel better now :) I truly am laughing though bcuz they never cease to amaze me thus far... Yea really!! My husband in Sydney doesn't look at this site at all...so I give him all the updates... when I told him we still haven't been transferred and that the wait may easily still be 5 months or more for the rest of the process he about had a breakdown! he thought I was kidding... sad.png Not a good day for us cray5ol.gif

haha, you sound like my manager. ;) He basically told me he was glad to hear that I was making work a priority and taking the right steps to ensure that my work performance will not be affected, but said more importantly to also take care of my health and to make sure to let them know if I needed anything to help me at work. I'm lucky to have an understanding manager, but I felt kinda bad bc I took him off guard. I felt much better afterwards though. Thanks for the kind words. :)

Oh, I'm not too worried about being transferred, I know it'll happen soon enough, but it was just everything piling on top of me (including this separation and waiting), I thought I could handle it on my own, but it looks like I can't always be proud and not let things get to me, because they do and I just sorta file them away. My hubs was not a happy bunny when I told him about it either. lol Thanks for your kindness. :)

And yes, hopefully we'll hear something soon for 9/11 - 9/19!!
