Hey there September,

Just got off the phone with tier 2, and I was transferred to CSC! PD Sept 3, Feb 24 transfer. Bdrew, first off, thank you for doing such a great job with the spreadsheet. Would you please update the service center for me?

Wanted to say to those transferred to NSC that I wish you all the very best of luck. USCIS is known for being unpredictable, so I hope that means with NSC we'll see a huge turnaround with their slow processing.

Can't wait to see the rest of September transferred. Especially that missing week!

Well I'm even more confused now. I just called USCIS and there was a recorded message asking me to type in my case number, which I did, and then another automated message told me my case has been transferred to Lees Summit, Missouri.

That's the third one, right?

I haven't gotten one yet. Just checked.

The case just before me was approved on the 25th, without a transfer. Hmm, probably an expedite..

Yes third time since 25 this one does it mean something good ?!

Press 3 after you type in your receipt number; it should connect you to a customer service rep.

I just did that, and she said it was transferred to my local office. I asked her where my local office is, and she said Orlando. There is a USCIS office in Orlando, but I dont think they deal with stuff like this. I then asked for a tier 2 immigration officer and was abruptly disconnected.

My case number begins MSC which I think was the old Missouri service centre which then became the national benefits centre, so I really have no idea whats going on.

I think I will pour myself a glass of grape juice and forget about it. No matter how many phone calls I make, its not going to make any difference apart from me actually finding out where my case has been transferred to, and knowing isnt going to speed up the process.

As expected, I've also been transferred to Nebraska. Please update the spreadsheet.

I called USCIS and spoke to a T2 rep who confirmed my transfer destination. When asked when she expected they might process my petition, she answered: "30 to 60 days. They are working through a large backlog. <pause> Sometimes 90 days. <long pause> Sometimes longer."

I'm feeling particularly pessimistic. sad.png

PD 9/9

Transfer 2/25

We 3 are in the same boat...I do not expect any activity on my case for 30 days..If it gets approved before that, it is a bonus. This process has been the worst nightmare of our marriage lives so far.

Now I really wish that I filed in the first week of September with 09/03 as my PD. That would made my file to go to CSC..oh well who knew the future?

Well hopefully it will be the biggest nightmare you will face. Life (and marriage) can get a whole lot more nightmarish than the visa application process.

Keep calling until you get someone to transfer you to tier 2! If you look back through older posts on the September thread, most of us played dumb about getting multiple transfer notices by email until the cs rep transferred us up to tier 2. Yesterday I got someone at tier 2 who refused to give me the information about where my file went (told me to wait a month), but today I got someone who told me no questions asked. It's true that it won't speed up the process to know. I was just too impatient to wait!

That said, enjoy your grape juice.

Im too impatient too, but each time I try to deal with this, my blood turns to acid, my skin turns green, my clothes rip themselves apart and I start throwing old cars around. I think my heart, nerves and blood pressure will thank me for not caring for a few hours :)

We are in the same boat as you (automated message says transferred to Lee's Summit). I just spoke to a tier 1 who had no information, but I am now on hold for a tier 2 with approx 35 min. wait time -- hang tight!

CR-1s are not capped like family preference categories.
