Could you try to get your case expedited? From all that I've read, they seem to like to make a big deal of the fact that its all handled very much on a first come, first served basis, yet my PD was several days after yours and I've been transferred

That would be awesome. If that happens, I will make a trip NSC to give to the IO who approved and say ...But again I can dream...I wonder why IO I spoke with yesterday told me to expect something in one month? May be she knows something more than we do about NSC?

Lol..just tell the CS rep to forward your call to Tier 2 officer..which will have a long wait time. You then request them to call you back and they are very fast like that.

I also have to say that while I cant speak for the Nebraska office specifically, apart from the 5 years I lived in California as a child, the only place in America I've actually lived and worked as an adult was in Nebraska, for a year in the 80s, and they're generally very hard working people in that neck of the woods, so maybe they wont be as slow as we all suspect.

You do have a reason to at least TRY to get the case expedited, if first come, first served is a myth. They state is as fact, but as we all know, its not the case. Right there is a reason to try. They can only say no. USCIS error is the last reason on that list, as far as I can remember, and if they're processing cases with a PD before yours, then to me, thats an error, simply because they couldnt possibly give a good reason for it. It costs nothing to try, and a rejection wont hurt your case.

It was posted a few pages ago how to get to a Tier 2 (actual immigration officer, not just a customer service rep)

The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Just dropped by to see how the Sep filer transfers are coming along.. and then i saw where you got transfered! That sucks Blueberry, honestly! I will be sending positive vibes to the universe that you will have an approval in max 2 weeks!!!

If not following FIFO would be considered an error, everyone would be filing for an expedite.

Besides, I was in the second batch of transfers. They didn't skip over me so it's all good

We (NSC transferees) need the vibes and all the magic in the world! Poor guys over in June/July thread are still waiting. This is just heartbreaking.

Here's to hoping NSC is gonna start working super fast!

I haven't gotten one yet. Just checked.

The case just before me was approved on the 25th, without a transfer. Hmm, probably an expedite..

I'm feeling particularly pessimistic.
