No it did not at all.

Are you the petitioner? Are you working with an attorney? I would give USCIS a call about that. The transfer notice will say "On Such-and-such date, your I-130 petition was transferred to another office" or something to that effect.

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

Actually I am working through an attorney but I'm also signed up for email notices which is how I got the email above. I've changed my password a couple of times and got notices for those as well.

To answer one question. We found out we had been transferred by looking on USCIS website. My husband found out we were at Texas. I will ask him how. We did not receive an email though. He had not signed up for emails although he did today. Will await the hard copy notice now.

@ Bisola, Yes Oluwa is Highly involve so lets continue to hope an trust in him. Both transfer and NOA2 will come our way soon all Sep filler... Before I was Sep 12 but REF made us to be Sep 20 and I was hopeing REF will set us back but God did the best. I hope that same God is still at work and he will surely see us all through.... Good Luck... One thing I understand is that the whole process is all about Patient.... Patient and Prayer's what we all need..... One Love

I noticed that I did not get a transfer. PD: 9-12-13

But I went through my emails and I found this...

On January 3, 2014, your address was changed relating to the I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E),

What is this a transfer notice ??

Not a transfer - probably just a computer glitch, but sometimes it does mean someone "touched" your file, so something (transfer, approval, whatever) happens shortly after one of these random messages. It could be that someone entered your address in the system. From "no address in the computer" to "address in the computer" could be construed as a "change of address".

There's no understanding what these messages mean. "Your Alien Registration number has been changed..." is another one that people sometimes get.

Congratulations to all tonight's transfers! It does seem like they're really ripping through September! (which is great for me because I'm waiting for them to get to October!)

We also got transferred -- PD Sept 23rd!

I hope this doesn't mean that they are just moving the backlog around to the service centers...

Oh, that's absolutely what they're doing. But given that almost no one is getting approved from NBC and some people every day are getting approved from the service centres, it's still a step in the right direction!

When you say 'how the petition went', what does that mean exactly? Sorry, I dont mean to sound stupid smile.png Do you mean if it was approved or not?

I'm not sure I'll be able to contain the excitement until I receive the paper notice, so I'll probably have to call them. I'm in the UK now and leave for Florida on March 11th, so I'm hoping the NOA2 will be delivered to me when I get back (the post office there is holding my mail until March 12th) but I'm probably a little too excited to wait that long dancin5hr.gif

No, my priority date is September 20. The NOA1 is dated September 24, but priority date is September 20...so it looks like they're working even faster than we hoped goofy.gif

I was just crushed yesterday. Crushed. I am still sad but am slowly coming to terms that there is just nothing I can do.

At least I somewhat know how much longer I will have to wait for my NOA2. I studied all the spreadsheets. 60-80 days. Ish.
