Finally on hold for Tier 2. First try I didn't get a call back because of weirdness with my skype number. Second time I got a service rep and told them that the call back didn't work for tier 2 and to transfer me again. They did it no questions asked. Maybe that works even better than playing dumb? Hahaha

Maybe we are all jumping to conclusions about the NSC? If we start seeing people that were transferred to the CSC or TSC getting approved before people that were transferred to the NSC, then would be a time to be worried but I think for now, everyone is in the same situation. Who knows, maybe the NSC will be faster than it ever was before. Not one of us really knows the real outcome...

I did get a call back from Tier 2 office but she told me the same as what shows on USCIS website. "Local office #######". So I called again and waiting for another call back from them. This is fudging frustrating as hell

How come I didn't get an email or a text??? I had to look at the website to see if they had transferred me... and Last night when I checked it had yesterday's date.. This morning it shows it was transferred Today the 26.... anyone knows why??? Little clueless here

Did you sign up on the USCIS website, or just submit the G-1145 with your original I-130? If you haven't signed up online for updates, that's why you haven't received an email or text. The G-1145 is for the initial petition receipt only. If you have signed up online, write it off as a USCIS glitch, and download the case status app to a smartphone if you can.

That happens on occasion. That happened to me when I filed for my I-129F last year. You may get a bombardment of e-mails soon, who knows. And does your status have different wording today as opposed to yesterday?

Let me also add that even though I did submit the G-1145 with my petition, I also signed up for case status notifications on their website. Double whammy.

Guys, Im just playing devils advocate here, but is all this analysing and predicting and worrying a lot of you are doing actually making things worse for you? Isnt it just adding to your stress levels? I keep reading this thread because, just like everyone else, I want this awful process to be over and done with, plus I want to hear how everyone else is getting along and coping etc...but at the end of the day, surely 'whatever will be will be'. USCIS isnt going to work any faster than it can, or wants to, and they're going to transfer the cases to wherever they see fit, regardless of how much we analyse the situation and try to predict whats going on. This is a waiting game, pure and simple, and I think thats pretty much all any of us can do. I will keep on reading this thread because I want the same outcome as the rest of you, and because each day its great to see more of your cases being transferred, but admittedly, reading most of the recent posts increases my own stress levels. Im desperate to get my NOA2, because at least I will know theres been some movement, but whether my case goes to Nebraska or California or the USCIS outpost on Jupiter, thats totally out of my control, and all I can do is wait. Believe me, I absolutely understand how stressful this process is, but having read the entire thread - particularly the last 3 or 4 pages - Im concerned that some of you may be adding to your own stress, when you already have more than enough stress to handle.

I think a lot of us analyze to figure out if there's a pattern to the madness or if it's an inconsistent mess. Thus far, we've been seeing a pattern and that's helped some of us gauge when to get our hopes up and when not to, and with the participation of everyone on this forum relaying whatever information or statistics they find, we can get a better idea of the process from our own understanding of the data. I think of it as a game looking at all these numbers and dates and when one of us is right, at least we know we're on the right path, plus it's a good way to be positive and spend the time apart doing what you are in control of, and that is having access to a sample pool of data from this forum.

I don't see what we're doing as an addition to stress, but rather a release. wink.png

I actually have to agree with AJMUK. We really don't know. NSC has not been getting any transfers for the last couple months so we don't really know what's going on. The fact that CA got slammed over the last month and a half makes me a bit skeptical that they're still moving at rapid pace.

Let's not let this thread become a downer. Yes, we do need to vent, but we're getting transferred and that counts for something, right? We are all one step closer to an approval :-)

Yup, that all makes sense too :) But from reading many of the posts, it seems that for some people, the analyzing (etc) is indeed raising their stress levels. Dont get me wrong, Im certainly not criticizing what people are doing, and I completely understand why its being done... But even with the greatest of statistics, predictions can be virtually impossible because as i said, at the end of the day, USCIS is going to do whatever it wants to do. As ive said before, I have been checking my case status online like a madman, but I havent tried to predict when my case will be transferred. Im assuming it will be soon, but when, and where to, are totally beyond my control, and its the same for everyone, no matter how many spreadsheets are created or trends anaylzed. Again, Im not criticising, i completely understand the need for information and hope, but my concern is that for some people, the added stress will just make things worse, and things are bad enough for most people already. :(

Thats a good way to look at it, NSC may start to be quick.

However, CSC used to handle 70% of the entire i130 case load, so they are used to it and very efficient...

Because. They. Can.

Ok so I was transferred to NSC center as well. Not the happiest person in the world :(.

On a brighter note, I spoke with Tier 2 and I have so say she was one of the few IOs who was quite helpful and informative. She basically told me that the file was received at NSC today and I should see some activity (NOA2) with my case in the next 30 days as they are aiming to get back to 5 month processing time sooner than later (so I guess they realize that the clock is ticking for them). I also showed that I was little unhappy as so why it went to NSC and not any of the other two centers. Her response was as we are expediting the process, the file should be assigned to an immigration officer within 30 days irrespective of where it went. From what I am seeing, none of the August filers went to NSC so as soon as we see some activity in July thread for NSC transfers we can be next one in the line. Also - as I was typing this message, I saw someone with July 17 NOA1 (NSC) did see some activity on the case.

The bottom line is, it may not be as bad as we both are making it out to be. Think about it, most of the July/Aug went to CSC (70%)/TSC (~30%) and many of those applications are yet to be approved. So if we were also transferred to CSC or TSC we might have ended up waiting for same amount of time as NSC...Again I could me wrong but that is my own analysis. Stay strong! :)
