Hi All! I filed our 129-F petition in July. Our NOA1 date is July 16. I was just wondering, what other notifications should I anticipate to receive from USCIS during this process aside from RFE (if needed) and NOA2? I know I am just 6 weeks into it, but reading some post on here that they are getting NOA2 in a months time and sometimes less, is making me worried. Last time our file was touched was back in July 26 when I filed for a change of address. I thought I read on one of the posts that they also change or assign an Alien NUmber? If so, how soon do they do that after they receive our petition? Any info or comments is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance

step by steps are pretty hard to pin down

you already have a good understanding of the notification, but the fact remains that the data base doesn't always update .. sometimes never.

patience is key.. the good news is that you are at csc, which has been going darn fast lately.

The time between NOA1 and NOA2 is long and requires a lot of patience. :clock: has been known to drive people crazy. You may receive some spurious messages, i.e., touches, A# assigned, typically amount to nothing of importance. RFEs are a different matter, if you get one, respond quickly and thoroughly. Keep in mind that this whole process is a marathon, not a sprint.

You may be getting close (from your timeline): "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between September 30, 2013 andOctober 19, 2013*. "

Good luck.

Yes in theory it is a good thing being in CSC. You're right, patience is key. Before i sent the petition in, I was ready for at least a 5 month wait. Seeing all these approvals from CSC with a NOA1 date around mine, is getting me antsy. It's making me think "How come ours isn't getting touched" or " Is there something wrong with our petition" or" Did they misplace ours" . I guess I should just slow down and wait.
