See, the thing is, I never said I was against DDt per se, I just said that I know why they banned it. Maybe it's time to unban it, or accept it in limited cases, I don't know.

Making silly red lines was a big mistake, but attacking just because would be a bigger one. Generally I think anyone should say what they mean and mean what they say, but I think it is important to recognize when maybe you said the wrong thing, take a step back, and reanalyze. This is why I like Obama, because he is thoughtful, not bowing to this sad-man state of perpetual fisticuffs.

I can't see a road ahead for Syria that isn't horrible, and that's sad. Attacking seems bad, but sitting idly by and watching all those people die is just as bad.

It does seem bad. But, I don't think we'll be able to help. All we're good at is blowing up stuff in favor of one side or the other. What do you do with two bad sides? I hate seeing people die but until country lines and religion are gone, what can you really do to help in a situation like this? Innocent people are going to die, at least its not us killing them this time.
