Hi Everyone:

I have a few questions pertaining to the Adjustment of Status forms as I try to work in advance that I hope you can provide guidance and help.

#1 - For form I-131, my fiancé does not have any pending trips planned back home to her country at this time. Is this form only to be completed if there was a previous trip booked? This form is not required, correct? I would like her to have the possibility if anything came up back home.

#2 - For form I-1864, I am quite confused about section Part 5 - confirmed household size. In question #2 it says yourself - 1, in question #3 - if you are married enter 1. When we mail the paperwork and turn it in to the Chicago lockbox, we will be officially married. Overall, it is just her and me. We have no children.

So, for #8 in this section, it should be 2, correct? I am confused about question #1 in this section where it states enter the number you entered on line 7 part 3. Again, the only person I am sponsoring is my fiancé and no other family members. Should that question be zero? For section part 3, I did not write anything in for Family member 1 thru 6. I am sponsoring the principal immigrant in Part 2.

#3 - For form g-325A, where it starts off with family name, do I put my wife's maiden name or her new last name she will take after we marry? Also at the very end in the box, it says family name, do I put her new last name or maiden name? Thanks again for your time and help! Much appreciated!

Hello,

#1 Form 131- application for advance parole this is for travelling outside USA, advance parole will allow your wife to enter the US if she travel while her AOs is pending (change ofstatus) the advantage of this travel permit is for emergency purpose. If any emergency arise she can travel. :)

#3 Put her new last name since she is already married to you...

This is what I can help you. #2 i forgot already what we wrote there. :)
