just sayin to other people that a tier 1 is an immigration officer is what you are being corrected on

That is what I have heard everyone, even seasoned VJ'ers refer to them as.

As I said DO NOT talk with the operator person who answering the phone. Request, NO DEMAND a Tier 2 Supervisor and do not get off phone until you know what and where your RFE is and what is going on.

I thought they would do their job but apparently putting things on hold and doing it whenever they want is a norm. We are at the 60 day mark and still no one can tell me anythiing about this missing

Both are part of the NSCS or National Service Call Center. They are not really immigration people. They don't work on your case. They answer the phone at a call center.

perfectly said nikki .. except that part they are not really immigration ppl (both being at the nscc).. the tier 2's really are officers, but yes don't work on sh$t but the end of a telephone and computer .. agreed 110% that they all make some really fun mistakes

How do you know my name ?? Lol.

Last week I called and a customer rep told me that since I had put a servive request and nothing had happened, to email tsc about a follow up. On the 25th my status updated to RFE (again) . And today the 30th I received my RFE FINALLY. After a two month almost 3 month wait.

Thank God its a super simple one.

I forgot to send both of our consents to marry. Ill be mailing them today or tomorrow

Oh ok.

Thank you. How long does it take for them to take action after a RFE ? Does anyone know

I wanted to know if the intent to marry letters can be typed or if they need to be hand written ?

• Feb 27, 2013 – NOA1 date (CSC)
• Mar 04, 2013 – NOA1 hardcopy in mail

• Aug 07, 2013 – NOA2 (161 days)

• Aug 10, 2013 – NOA2 hardcopy in mail

• Sep 04, 2013 – file sent out from CSC

• Sep 12, 2013 – NVC assigned TKY case #

• Sep 13, 2013 – file in transit to TKY from NVC

• Sep 16, 2013 – CEAC site case status "READY"

• Oct 21, 2013 – Interview at Tokyo Embassy, approved in 3 minutes (236 days since NOA1)

• Oct 21, 2013 – CEAC site case status "Administrative Processing"

• Oct 22, 2013 – CEAC site case status "Issued"

• Oct 23, 2013 – K-1 visa delivered at around noon
