hello everyone! i just wanna share my experience here during my interview,hoping that it will help to others.

My husband lived here in the Philippines for 5 years and we've been married for 3 yrs and 7 months and in

between those times he only went back to US last November 2012 for medical attention and back here in the

Philippines last January 2013.

Anyway,my interview was last Aug.14,2013. I was so worried about the domicile issue. as the filipina consul called my number

she asked basic questions and ask for my affidavit of support. I gave her the paper and she left for a while and came back

asking me if my husband has a joint sponsor. I said no because my husband is making above poverty level income and

that his income is non taxable because its a VA disability compensation and his SSS is too low and she said ok

and wait for your final interview.

So, i waited for hours until an american consul called my number. He asked few questions like where I met my husband,

when was our wedding and what i finished in college and that's it. he told me to wait for the final call at the other window.

At the final call, the woman told me that i need a joint affidavit of support. i was really disappointed because i never expect

that i need one when we meet more than enough the guideline for just the 2 of us, me and my husband.

When my husband learned about this,because he was not there with me during the interview. he did'nt also understand.

So he really insisted to call the embassy after a week. I also emailed them inquiring about that said problem.

And after 2 days guys, as i check my case status...from Administrative processing...Now it says ISSUED!

Thanks God so much! no more papers ask..they just issued it. hopefully i will receive my package next week.

By the way, I dont have any problems with the Domicile issue, the lady returned all my papers for that.. no question ask about it.
