Whenever she go for medical exams in St. Lukes, its required to have a chest x-ray. She might be diagnose having a hepa-B "BUT" since ..... you've said she's on medication now, I believe its a 6 months medication. Hopefully she will clear it out before her medical exam in St Lukes. Also, the doctor in St. Lukes will asked previous check-up she'd done and medication she took, it's gonna be her proof that's she's been diagnose and been medicated.

She should be taken her medications by now because its surely helps her to clear it out. Don't worry to much, atleast she was been diagnose early before she got medical appointment prior to visa interview that surely will only result of delay for the processing of her visa.

God bless & Goodluck!

My understanding is that she must be clear of the disease for a certain length of time. If she has tested positive she will have to be monitored and then she can still get a 221g or 212 at the time of the interview and then she can apply for a waiver. Please look at this link and read up on the disease so that you are informed on how it effects the body. And hope someone else more familiar with this can shed some light on this for you. Good luck.

Just tell her to bring all the documents stating she is having medication now . Dont worry she will never denied .Just tell her to go in St Lukes and show them her medical result from other doctor.
