Hello all.

I am US citizen by birth , and I almost ready to sent the I-130 for my both sisters (same mother and father).

-Do I need to send a cover letter?

- My birth certificate, the middle name of my mother has a spelling mistake. Do you think it is a good idea to send an explanation letter?

I was writting this to attach for both of my sisters' forms:

"My name is X and I am the Petitioner of my sister Y (Beneficiary). We both have the same mother and father. I am US citizen born in the State of XX.

In my birth certificate, issued in the State of XX, the middle name of my mother was incorrectly written as “Isabela” instead of the correct middle name “Isabel”.

I sent an “Affidavit to Amend Record” to the Office of Vital Records of XX Department of Public Health on August 26, 2013, in order to correct my mother’s middle name in my birth certificate and I am waiting for the response of the Office of Vital Records for my case."

I want to file and not wait months for the Office Vital office Records response, because of any change in the immigration law.

Thanks,
