I have never said where I met my fiancee. IF I did meet her in a bar,,its no big deal to me,,,the point I'm trying to make is most guys on here pat themselves on the back "for not marrying a bg".

Okay, here's the thing. I don't think most of the regulars here have ever really discussed bar girls. You're the only one obsessed with it. Nobody here really cares where anybody met there spouse or fiance/e; we're mostly just happy that others are happy. period

Well now the adults are discussing bargirls,,whats the harm? are you afraid? I'm not obsessed with it,,just making a point. why wouldnt we care about were each other met? its an integral part of the process

but yet sit in front of the pc and "pic one out of a virtual lineup" they may have their clothes on on the date sites,,,but its still the same game and these guys somehow cant see that.

Here's where you're totally confused. Maybe the world has changed too much for you in the past 10-20 years, but nobody considers meeting online the same as prostitution. You're warped view simply does not reflect reality. Sorry.

I am anything but confused,,your the one who seems to have his head in the clouds

I also called them out on there former marriages and they wont admit to being divorcees.

My overall point is that I said most of the guys who have foreign fiancees have wrecked marriages and found there ladies online or in a bar,,,,,,thats all,,very simple

just a discussion,,not steroetyping or making fun at anyone,,just pointing out a demographic here and these guys are in complete denial about me actually being right

And now let me ruin your stereotype, and yes, you are stereo typing. I met my wife when I was in my 40s. This is my first and only marriage. And I also had no issues with American women. By the way, to ruin your stereo type even more, I have never in my life dated anyone who was past her 20s. So, the same "success" that I had in the Philippines, I also had in the states. I've always gone out with young, attractive women. The only difference is that the person I met there was absolutely perfect for me. She is simply better than all the rest. I've never been happier in my life.

And I have absolutely no interest in hearing your story. no0pb.gif

I met my wife in my 30's I am now in my mid 40's and have never married,,,and dont talk to me about all your "dates" and past "relationships". A woman who is 250 on the hoof with 3 kids by 2 different fathers doesnt count

what did you even know about Pinay before you started looking online? if you had so much success in the USA why didnt you marry an American? I smell Bola Bola

blah, blah, blah.... I added that because the quote was left blank.

Okay, I'll try to explain it to you. There is no harm in discussing bar girls. It's not a topic that comes up here very much. No idea why and I've never wondered why. I guess maybe most of us are happy now and are simply not interested in that. Why you bring it up, I have no idea? If your fiancee was a bar girl or wasn't; I really don't care, just want you to be happy.

But, for some reason, you've decided that everybody here met a bar girl, or if they met online then it's the same as a bar girl, or everybody has so many multiple failed marriages. Most of us here are happy and just want the same for everybody else. Don't know why that is such a problem for you.

What did I know about the Philippines? Almost nothing. I was looking for a place to retire when I get older because my retirement isn't going to be that much. I found the Philippines because it has most of what I was looking for. I joined a dating website on a whim and, for the most part, it was a total waste of time. Almost everybody I encountered was not looking for the same thing I was. I was online to delete my account because I was tired of wasting time and that's when I met my wife. I consider it a sort of miracle of timing that we met. After talking with her, I found that we shared a lot in common. We have the same values, religion is very important to both of us, etc. After talking for about a year, I decided to go meet her and the rest is history.

That's my story and I still have no interest in yours.

By the way, if you really want to know how to be successful with women, let me know. I'll help you out.

I'm the one that brought it up actually. I find a problem with it, Niblet is the one who doesn't. I don't find a problem with it if the guy knows, only if he doesn't know which the odds are high if the girl is off one of the main dating sites she is some form of bar girl. Now there are different types of bar girls, some use the dating sites as there sort of bar I guess you could say. Unfortunately to a great number of men love becomes blinding and they can't think rationally. I know someone just like Niblet, I like his honesty. My wife knows if she leaves me alone for a second in Philippines I will be in a bar, but never would I consider any sort of a relationship with any girl in a place like that. I find issues with a few different scenarios I often see on visajourney, I don't have a problem with age differences if you stay in the culture that accepts it. If I were to marry someone 25 years younger than me I would stay in Philippines, it is just not accepted here and it would be weird. My wife is 13 years younger than me, which is the exact same age difference as my last blonde haired american girlfriend. If I couldn't swing it here I wouldn't try to import someone because our culture doesn't have the same beliefs. I just think more guys would be concerned with ways to find out if their girl had worked at bars, in some cases it would obviously be hard but from the girls I've seen they scream bar girl. But maybe they knew or met them in a bar who knows...

If the guy doesn't know, then it's because she is being dishonest with him, which in and of itself sends up red flags. If she was a bar girl and told him about it, then it would be up to him (them) to decide just "how much" bar girl he would be able to tolerate. But if she kept it a secret from him, then what else would she decide to hide? IMHO, that is the problem, not where she once worked.

Let's pretend that 1 VJ finally answered your "past relationship" question. Let's call that VJ = Buscador.

So here is Buscador's answer...,

Okay...there is Buscador's answer. Now what?

Btw...In my world = I think it is redneck uncouth to discuss past relationships outside a very intimate setting & only if discussion is agreed upon by the couple...IMO - you asking the question is uncouth...but I'm not surprised you desire the discussion - would be surprised if you didn't wink.png ...apparently you have an open wound you are trying to heal...or feed.

That should make pretty clear = Don't even ask me about my past coz I will just ignore the question. It's irrelevant & low class. Make your point in theory - should satisfy your intent.

I just don't see how any marriage can be anything but a long time John after someone has done something like that.

Most any guy who marries such a girl would fear that; that's the elephant in the room. I guess some react by positioning himself as that master, in a certain sense, with her as a willing trophy, splurging on her to keep other guys at bay. And that others try to educate her instead, hoping that changes her mindset.

You sound like a tool dude. Discussing the past is only beneath those who have something to hide. A very weak rebuttal in my opinion. VJ does have users with a certain type of vibe, I don't know that Niblet hit the nail on the head but I get the jist of it.

Sounds like a personal problem. You might want to get that checked out. Just remember, if you can no longer cut the mustard, you can still lick the jar.

From his last post, evidently not.
