Thank you for the information. It helps to at least know that couples were successful with getting their i 130 approved with how they went about with the documents coz that gives us more knowledge about how to go about with ours. In our case, since we're newlyweds (got married July 31, 2013), we still dont have any joint accounts, bills under our names, etc, except for our marriage certificate. So with this, we thought the best way to prove that our relationship is bona fide is to send documentation of our love story, hotel vouchers, plane tickets, and chat conversations. Do you think that is enough in our case?

We are in the same boat (had to ditch the K1 route), got married July 27th, and from what I read on the instructions for the I-130, we are providing sworn affidavits from 3 people stating that we are a legitimate couple, as well as photos from our engagement and wedding. Hope this is right! Better too much evidence than too little.

We created a PowerPoint template of 6 photos per page (2x3 portrait). On the lower part of each photo had the names of each person in the photo, the 'title' of the photo, for example "Day of Engagement at such and such a place". Also, the date of the photo in mm/dd/yyyy format.

If you use PowerPoint, you can use an image template, copy/paste for all 6 and then re-open the template as a document and drag/drop photos from your computer to the template. Was super easy and simple and let's you do a lot of photos in very little time and the results look very professional.

Printed out on high quality 'letter' sized paper, one sided print.

On the first page, I listed "Evidence of Bonafide Marriage" with each document listed including the PowerPoint photo album I created. As in "1) Photo album 2) House deed with both names listed " etc.

Our I-130 was approved in less than 4 months with no RFE.

This sounds magnificent. I would have loved to be the adjudicator seeing these pictures of memories. Good for you. Great idea.

I got married on 31/7/2013 too! And like you we have no joint accounts, so just going to send the photos, Skype IM/call logs, emails, cards, gift receipts, passport stamps etc.

I did try joining his accounts, even car/health insurance, but they basically told me to p*ss off!
