Post NOIR decision

Hello all,

We received and NOIR and then after submitting all they needed we were re-affirmed August 14th, 2013. (We are almost 2 years into our process now......)

On the advice of what I have seen on VJ, I went to CEAC to see what it was saying and I would love to hear what people think.

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.

I know we are back to waiting for Interview #2, but what can I expect from DOS and Consulate at this point for our case? I know this can take days, weeks, months and God forbid it takes another year! We are just like others sooooooo ready to be together in one and not 3000 miles apart!

Seems to me they are doing AP on your case before his interview. I guess I would prefer them to do it in advance to alleviate it happening after the interview!!
