While on the subject of Kansas, I was reminded of Oklahoma. I drove through there once and there was no one there. It was also incredibly flat, but also empty except for trains. We only saw two people in Oklahoma city. I have never been to a state where we saw only two people.

And in Ohio, we went to a town where everyone was blond except for 3 black people. It was like being in the twilight zone. At least there were people there and everyone was very friendly to us not so blond folks. It's a good thing we weren't there to rob a bank!

New Englanders are uptight and frigid. ;)

The NYC one makes me laugh. New Yorkers aren't rude, in my experience, just aloof and walking quickly. They'd help you if you needed it, but otherwise, they're just brusque and brisk.

So does anyone know about the guys from Tanger?

No, what?

sounds like a knock knock joke is coming... :D

Probably something having to do with tangerines and bananas.

Which are better, tangerines or clementines? From Morocco or California?

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

I did NOT grow up in a trailer park and I CAN read and I DO wear shoes!!!

BUT I did move to Texas so I am sure which State got stuck with the lower IQ

(I think I raised the collective IQ in Texas a great deal when I came )

. . that wasn't my intent as I actually love my home state very much . . . I just can't find a decent job there. . . chicken plucking is not a DECENT job for some of us.

I always drive through eastern OK on route to my hometown of Ft. Smith . . . I have seen a couple of ppl over there . . but mostly I am being run off the road by the speeders from Texas.

Speaking of which . . . it is TEXAS that takes so long to drive across and is dull flat and boring most of the time . . . according to ppl here, Kansas is just a blip in the road!

:help:

Have I offended anyone yet???

Yes, Texas is flat and boring, but what Texas has that OK and KS do not is the Big Texan restaurant in Amarillo

header_flash1REV.jpg

where you can have a steak eating contest. Kansas needs one of those; OK needs more warm bodies. biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

Good to know it's not just me missing the party!

I do not own part of the Big Texan. It was just the only thing I remember seeing the whole time I was in Texas. Quite memorable, actually!

I've heard about reputations about men from every place in Morocco, from my fiance and other Moroccans I've met. Men from Rabat are liars, people from Casablanca are thieves, Marrakech guys will kill their best friend over a girl, and also some other ones that aren't really appropriate for a public forum! Anyway, it doesn't necessarily mean it's true.

What is the reputation of men from Erfoud?

here's the answer I got (from a guy who spent a few years in Erfoud). "they can **** even the animals, and they hate people from other parts of Morocco." I almost died laughing when I heard that!

:lol::lol: Wait til I tell this to you know who
