Thank you all! What keeps us going is the pay back in the end. If there was a way to pay more money and speed it up, we would do it. I kind of wish I would have found this place before I sent off the paperwork. I wonder now if I sent enough information that proves our relationship.

With the I-129f you are only proving that the two of you actually met during the last 2 years. The proof of relationship stuff is needed later at the interview stage. I suggest you use the time well while you are waiting to make sure your numbers show up on each others phone bills, send each other some real old fashioned love letters, then make sure he has a selection of things like this to show at the interview.

My phone bills were scary also but then I started buy phone cards. So in the end I had phone bills and phone cards because we couldn't talk enough . Our K 1 journeney took 7 months even with visits in between the journey felt like forever. Please let the VJ family help you with support and advise they are wonderful!!! GOOD LUCK!!! Me and my fiance mailed off our paperwork on 11/27/06 for a K-1 visa. We did the paperwork all on our own and I hope that I did OK. I haven't seen him since May of this year and it has been horrible. I feel like a part of me is missing. I miss him so much. I am American and he is Australian. I just pray that this process will be as painless as possible. I can't wait to be his wife and start our lives together, as we have spent too much time apart as it is already.

We have been going 7mths now and are getting towards the end of our visa process. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. lol One thing is for sure...if you can get through this you can get through anything in your married life. It has definitely made our relationship stronger.

I'm sure that will be good enough for the petition. They just want to know that you've been together within the past two years. We only sent a couple of pictures and had no problems. It's at the interview where you need to prove your relationship. Here's hoping for a speedy journey for you!

Well we mailed our paperwork 10/23/06 for a K-1 visa. We also did the paperwork on our own with the help of this site. I haven't seen Natasha since July and yes it is very difficult. But we talk everyday and we both have webcams so we can see each other. I hope that they can process just a little faster.

Good luck to the both of you! I just got my NOA2 yesterday so I feel like I'm on a cloud . I understand about the phone bills. Phone cards, Vonage and www.futurephone.com helps me but my phone bills are still crazy! I have been to Sydney twice. Aussies are so cool. They have a laid back, fun view of life. I know the Aussies summer is approaching and high ticket prices, but sign up for Qantas email. Sometimes they will have a sale this time of year and United will match it. Also Cathay Pacific has a "All Asia Pass" which now serves Aus. I used the " All Asia Pass" once to travel east and I feel it's one of the best deals in travel.
