Yes 3 years of IRS transcript is needed for AOS...you can get it online for free at the IRS website...we got my fiances IRS transcripts a week or 2 after the request.

No, only one year is needed. You could give 3 years if you want, but most people don't.

Also, you don't have to use a transcript -- you could use the actual tax return + W2 + all the forms directly; however, the transcript is much simpler and easier.

if Turbo Tax was used to file you can log on and print off past years W2 I did that and requested tax transcripts read the guides ahead of time and get the paperwork organized and ready to go I have a 3 ring binder with copy save pouches then the ECCO clips and two hole punch also get a self inking stamp and put your case number on the upper right comer of all the documents

02/13/2014 Received txt message from 2go passport in transit.

02/14/2014 Passport with Visa in hand.

02/18/14 POE at DFW YES!!!!

Hello newacct, thank you for your time. I read in your statement above that "you don't have to use a transcript, you could use the actual tax return . . ' by "actual tax return", do you mean a simple photocopy of the 1040 +W2 that you r sent to the IRS?. Thank you, Respectfully
