Do we have to wait another 8weeks for our approved K1 case to be shipped to NVC??

We got NOA2 on 07/22 and got an email that our case has been shipped to nvc on 08/08....after 22days from 08/8 that our K1 case has been shipped to vsc we got same email AGAIN that our case has been shipped but with different date.

We got this email on 08/08;

'On August 8, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly'

Also got this email on 08/30;

'On August 30, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.'

Isn't this annoying? Meanwhile we've been told to wait for 8weeks by DOS and NVC so here is my question; does it mean we have to start counting another 8weeks all over again from 08/30? We are really devastated.

03/12/2013 : 129F SENT TO VERMONT

03/14/2013 : NOA1

07/10/2013 : 129F TRANSFERRED TO TSC

07/22/2013: NOA2

08/30/2013: SHIPPED TO NVC

09/04/2013: NVC RECEIVED I-129F

09/06/2013: CASE NUMBER RECEIVED

09/10/2013: CASE SENT TO US EMBASSY (NIGERIA)

09/16/2013: PACKET 3 RECEIVED

09/19/2013: MEDICALS

10/28/2013: INTERVIEW

10/28/2013: APPROVED

Although I understand what the OP is going through at this time but it's also important to acknowledge that immigration journey is a "WAITING GAME "it's a tough and bumby road to say the least. While millions of people are waiting just for NO2..I suggest you to be more patient and we all pray for you to receive your visa in a very short time. You're half way through this long journey. Good luck

Nothing you can do but get ready and have all your documents and forms ready. Keep calling NVC Sorry this 8 weeks thing is just so not nice.

I have a friend that they told the same thing and it was about 2 weeks later that NVC sent a letter that they had received their case. Chin Up!

08/01/12-Married08/17/12-Applied for Social Security Card09/23/12-Husband received his Social Security card!09/27/12-Filed AOS09/28/12-AOS package received10/01/12-Text message from USCIS10/03/12-Check cashed10/09/12-NOA1 for I485,I765,I131 AND Biometrics Appointment Letter10/24/12-Biometrics Appointment12/11/12-EAD and AP Approved-75 days12/14/12-EAD/AP Card Production ordered12/21/12-EAD/AP Card came in the mail06/22/13-Green Card Approved06/27/13-Greed Card Production Ordered06/29/13-Green Card came in the mail<p>

04/09/15-Mailed ROC

04/10/2015-Package received

04/14/2015-Check cashed

06/02/2015-Called Service Center (still no NOA1) Service request found out wrong address on paperwork! :(

06/03/2015-Called to get address updated Ar11 online add change didnt work-got infopass for June 10th

06/10/2015-Went to info pass appt. Hubby got a 1yr. Extension stamp in his passport and biometrics done

08/12/2015-ROC Approved. Got letter in the mail.

08/29/2015-received new card in the mail.

Thank you so much...Just wondering how long we have to wait after this....we already gathered all docs though and waiting for the case number, hopefully we should get it soon

I think they tell everyone 8 weeks to stop people calling/emailing. I dont think ive heard of it actually taking anyone that long! We were told 8 weeks and it took around 2. Dont worry it will fly by!

[June 25th 2012] Met in Person in London!
[August 2012] Steve visits me again in the Uk for our second meeting for just one weekend! [March 6th 2014] AoS Interview - Passed
[september 2012] My first trip to America to visit the love of my life
[November 2012] I travel to America for my first ever thanksgiving with Steves family!
[December 2012] Steve comes to the Uk to spend xmas with my family!

[July 26th 2013] We call DoS and are finally given our case # - I book medical immediatly

[July 29th 2013] Case forwarded to US Embassy, London
[August 8th 2013] Packet 3 sent (before received)

[August 13th 2013] Medical

[August 16th 2013] CEAC updates - London logs my medical results

[August 23rd 2013] I call DoS and they tell me my interview date, (2 weeks since I sent ds-2001)

[August 27th 2013 CEAC update - London dispatches packet 4]

[August 29th 2013] Packet 4 received
[september 24th 2013] Interview - Refused due to passport and birth certificate condition

[september 26th 2013] Emergency appt at HM Passport Office London - New Passport and Birth Certificate in hand
[september 30th 2013] DX collects passport and birth certificate

[October 3rd] - Docs delivered to Embassy

[October 10th] - London Approves and Issues our Visa!!

[October 16th 2013] 4.00pm - Visa in my hand, 11pm POE -Newark

Same thing happen with our case. NOA2 was July 24th. Message that case was sent for visa processing on August 15th. Same message that case was sent for visa processing on August 22nd. Then, August 27th we received another NOA2 and have no idea where our case is.
