It's sad. Because of people like this guy, honest Nigerians wishing to be with their American loved ones have such a hard time getting their visas.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Yes it is a sad state liars trying to pull a fast one on the embassy and touts selling fake visas to the US or pretending to enter people in the DV lottery and charging again to check their status a year latter ( and then sometimes selling winning entries with fake docs to go with it. ) . It is a shame to see scammers like this come here looking for help to further their attempts. People who have never been there can never understand the payers of corruption that is Nigeria.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

thank u all for the reply, but seriously my first application to the us embassy was seriously my agents fault not mine i dont mean to lie and forcefully attempt to travel to the us it was all luck.

Ok let start by saying this i plan on going to the united states on holiday vacation when my agent applied for a visa for me in 2002 he used another name and date of birth which was not mine and ask me to try it if i could get a visa which i didnt get the visa then..............years after i just thought of playing the US lottery when eventually i won with my real identity i forgot totally and i never knew the other identity was still with the emnassy so i when for the visa and i was approved until some few days before the collection day that i was called to come to the embassy then i was ask to identify the pic if it was me then i knew it was the 2002 applcation that was infront of me seriously i dont mean to lie but at that moment i was scared to loose the visa so i lied, that was the genesis of the misrep issue.

A lie is a lie. It's not "luck."

Doesn't matter why you did it, but that you did it. Game over.

In fact, you lost the visa because you lied. You were trying to save it but did the exact wrong thing to save it.

Dear the scenario you just told us is the #1 reason Nigeria is the Highest Fraud Embassy. The fraudulent papers. People coming up with all manner of documents, pictures, passport everything to get a Visa.

Did you sign the documents? Then it was your responsibility to know all contents. I find it hard to believe you didn't examine anything the picture nothing?

But a misrep at this level is really bad. Most just lie about being married, having kids, money in bank, jobs. You submitted totally fraudulent everything. In the US that's called identity thief.

Ultimately YOU are responsible for what is submitted to the embassy and you went inside and swore that you were stating the truth. Did this agent stand behind you with a gun to your head. You knew what your were doing and you went along with it. Now you will forever pay the price. They won't believe your marriage or any other new scheme you have to get to the US. It is a privilege to come here and you have disrespected this country by lying to it's representatives. Myself and other honest Nigerians hope your journey ends as it should In Nigeria.

That being said the best site for troubled immigration paths is immigrate2us.net. If any group can help you they can.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
