I sent our I-129F package 6 Jul 13, and received the NOA1 for 11 Jul (Vermont Processing Center). On 6 Aug, I got a letter advising our package was forwarded to the Texas Service Center. Looking on the USCIS website the other day, it said "On August 27, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing". It's approved in only about 50 days???? dancin5hr.gif

I put a lot of time and work into completing a nice detailed, professional package (took about 2 months...I'm very used to putting together document packages for work) so I was sure it was very good, but we were assuming it would take 5 or 6 months! I haven't received the NOA2 in the mail, but I'm sure it might even be in the box now, or coming soon...!

Some with August NOA1s have been getting approved lately. I thnk they will finish them all and approve them as they arrive at some point this year. My theory is they are doing this in anticipation of an eventual shift to illegal immigrant processing once immigration reform gets passed. Just like they had to with DACAs early this year. Which will slow the process down again. We should be thankful we are sandwiched between those two processes.

Congratulations, USCIS have been doing a wonderful job lately approving those petition really fast unlike before people waiting for 8 month just to get NOA2. They probabely hired more people.

[August 2012] Steve visits me again in the Uk for our second meeting for just one weekend! [March 6th 2014] AoS Interview - Passed
[september 2012] My first trip to America to visit the love of my life
[November 2012] I travel to America for my first ever thanksgiving with Steves family!
[December 2012] Steve comes to the Uk to spend xmas with my family!

Congrats :), the fastest noa1-noa2 stage was the other day I guess 19 days.

{OUR PROCESS}

*SENT PACKAGE DECEMBER 5TH 2012*

- Dec 9, 2012: Petition received by USCIS via USPS signature confirmation delivery

- Dec 13, 2012: Cleared check & NOA1 later in day

- Dec 18, 2012: NOA1 (hard copy) received in the mail dated the 12th Dec

- February 26, 2013: Petition is being transferred to another office

-February 28, 2013: Petition was received by unspecified office and alien registration number was changed.

-March 04, 2013: Called USCIS & found out our file was transferred to California Service Center.

-June 4, 2013 NOA2

-June 6, 2013: NVC Received petition

-June 19, 2013 : Petition left NVC

-July 3, 2013: Packet 3 Received (via email)

- Aug 13 2013: Interview Date : (Rescheduled for a later date)

- September 25, 2013: New interview date, initially approved but put into AP for insufficient co-sponsor.

- Sept. 25- Nov. 20th 2013: In AP due to insufficient co-sponsor

- Nov 21, 2013: CEAC website says visa is Issued :) YAY!

- Nov 26, 2013: Visa in hand dancin5hr.gif

Yes they are moving at reasonable speed now. Took 38 days for RFE and 21 more for NOA2.

Not fast, but at least reasonable.
