September Baltimore filler as well....it's nerve wrecking checking ur mailbox everyday hoping to see a USCIS mail

I tried this and with my $ number (substituting a * for the $) it says they scheduled an oath ceremony for me on Dec 30, 2014. My * number says still inline for an interview. Seeing as I have not yet had an interview, i'm pretty sure the $ number is not mine. I don't think you can simply replace the $ with a * — I think it brings up someone else's number.

So, since I've been in line for scheuling for a full 90 days now and received nothing, I'm going to call them today.

Anyone else with the Baltimore office, aside from Justine+David?

so its your Application id and your payment id which is with $ Sign .

I read the claims 4 reference guide and it's interesting to know how things work inside lol. I guess though that some field offices scans the second bar code and some don't. Unfortunately, I'm one of the offices that they don't. I mean I even changed the $ with * and it said that on December 24th the interview was scheduled but my interview was scheduled on November 27th. If I keep the $, the case doesn't exist.

I had my interview in Boston past Tuesday. It took about 30 minutes and it was fairly easy. They officer asked me four questions:

- How long do we elect the president for?

- When was the declaration of independence adopted?

- Name one of the longest rivers in the US.

- What is the name of Speaker of the House.

After that I had to read the phrase: "Abraham Lincoln was a President"; and then write "Lincoln was President during the Civil War".

Other questions I was not expecting were:

- What is your wife's name?

- What are your children's names?

- When did you get married?

- When were your wife born?

- When was your child born?

And other questions like these that are easy to answer if you are married for real =).

I was told that I should be expecting a letter in a month or so.

It took around 4.5 months from the day I sent out my package with USPS to my oath ceremony today. The ceremony's whole process lasted exactly 1 hour. The speeches were short but absolutely meaningful. All the officers there were very nice.

I would like to thank to the San Jose USCIS whose employees are very nice, friendly and productive. From my AOS to citizenship, everything has been processed in a timely manner. I also want to thank this forum, I have gotten a lot of helpful information from here.

Best lucks for all of you.

Updating my case! I got my first interview date for 01/13/14, but I couldn't go and then asked for reschedule, my new date is 02/20/14.

Had my interview at Boston office today. Was recommended for Approval but my wife was given "decision can't be made...".

Didn't ask to see any of the documents I had carried with me except GC, Passport and Drivers license.

Asked if I was arrested (I had answered yes to the "have you ever been arrested, cited..." question), Replies no it was traffic violations and all tickets are paid. Asked if I went to the court. this tripped me up little bit. I did go t othe court in person but it wasn't that I was being prosecuted etc but to deal with the ticket. I told that IO that I have a printout from the court (it was a printout with court seal embossed on it). He asked if he could keep the original, to which I said sure.

He checked with his supervisor and later gave me printout and congratulated me for approval. Now waiting for the oath.

Here's the kicker though: My wife's case was given "a decision can't be made yet". She had her interview before me same day. Apparently her IO said she needs to do "background check" or see "internal files" and she doesn't need to come again and will hear in the mail about her case.

I was expecting that my case will be scrutinized if at all and not my wife's. Hers is pretty plain vanilla, no traffic tickets, no oversesas travels over six months.

Anyone had similar experience about their spouses or their own cases and what happened? How it progressed?

Updating my case. Received official oath ceremony letter in the mail today, Feb 7. Would have been sooner but we requested a later date as we were out of the country.

So I tried the $ thing found on the priority date paper and found that we were scheduled for an interview and that we would be getting notice about it. That update was on December 6th...so maybe they have it scheduled but only send it out a month prior to it actually happening? I have no idea but I think I might call USCIS. I'm 4 days away from my 90 day mark since David's in-line for interview was on 10/31

Question please guys.

1- when u sent copy of ur green card or any other paper, eckdo i need to sign this copy or write A number on it or anything? or no just send it as it is?

2- when there is a question in the form like. if u check "no" answer the following questions, and i am not needing to check on "no", so do i put N/A on the other questions related to "no" or i just leave it plane as i did not check "no"?

3- any tips u wanna give me, cuz i am aboout to file

1)you don't have to assign anything(copy of your papers),but the form itself+when you send them the 2 pictures of you for the docs,on the back of them slightly write your A# with a pensil.be gentle with it,the number shouldn't be shown through the paper on the other side.

2)when there is n/a to answer,answer n/a,do not leave blanks.

3)it's hard to recommend on something because we don't know at what filing point you are,i guess the best advise will be-print out the n-400 filing guide and follow everything it says.make sure you send your paperwork well organized.
