Still waiting for an interview...the USCIS notice says that I can call 90 days after the biometrics was in-line, which was October 31st for David. I guess I'll be waiting until the end of January for it. I hope it comes soon!!

I woke up today at 6 oclock, checked my window for any snow but thank God there was none. We got ready and we left around 7:40 for my appointment at 8:30am. We got in front of the federal court house around 7:50am. By 7:55 I was done with security checks. Signed took biometrics and picture and waited for around 5 minutes and my name was called. I was interviewd by a very nice lady, she told me to set my stuff but stay standing for oath. The officer said that a lot of people get nervous about the test so she started with. I was asked to write "we have 100 senators." And the I was asked to read " why do people want to be a citizen?" After that she started asking me civic questions:

1- what did the declarations of independence do?

2- why do some states have more representatives than other states?

3- there are four amendments about who can vote. Describe one of them.

4- what is one responsibilty that is only for the United States citizens?

5- what do we show loyalty to when we say the pledge of allegiance?

6- what is one promise you make when you become a United States citizen?

7- what is one reason colonists came to America?

8- what one important thing Abraham Lincoln did?

9- what major event happened on september 11, 2001 in the United States?

10- what ocean is on the west coast of the United States?

For some reason I was asked all questions but its all good it wasnt bad lol.

Then we went over the N400 and I was asked about my speeding tickets but she told me I dont have to show any proof as long as I paid the fines. After that I signed a paper that had my info and she gave me a piece of paper and she told congratulations you are recommended for approval. She told me I should expect my oath to be in early February.

The interview was done in les then 20 minutes, faster then I expected.

I wish everybody a good luck and ill let you know when I hear something from USCIS.

Oh i forgot to include that i was asked for proof of marital status. I have the officer:

A copy of car insurance, a medical bil, phone bill, medical insurance for all family members from my work. And i was asked as well if my wife was there.
