My 3 year anniversary was 9-9-13

Might be stuck in the name check. It usually takes 2 business days after biometrics to change to "Inline" as long you are beyond the anniversary. Try calling them to find out the status

I just called and they told me some cases only go into interview and testing until the notice is mailed out. And there's nothing I can do before it's out of normal processing time.

I had my interview on Dec 2 and passed but my status is still at interview and testing.

Wife just finished her interview--she was recommended for citizenship. Took 20 minutes in total. Six questions, had to write a sentence and read a sentence. *No* documents checked except for her green card. Got a sheet of paper noting that she was recommended.

She requested that her oath ceremony be scheduled after we return from a trip we are leaving for in two weeks. He noted it in red and requested a date after she returns. She left a letter requesting the same, along with a copy of her plane reservations noting dates.

Fingers crossed that the scheduling will happen as requested.

Good luck to all that are waiting. We aren't done till she has a US passport in hand!

Just had my interview today.

was asked 6 questions ,

very easy questions,

nice interview officer,

she went through my whole file.

I was approved for citizenship,

since I am doing a name change ,

she told me that I will be having my oath letter pretty soon.

so waiting on the oath letter now.

Turned in my interview notice to security guard and he ran it through the scanner machine including my wallet belt watch and asked me to walk through security gate which i did i forgot the key there was a key in my pocket that did not made the machine buzz when i walked through the scanner.

My Appointment was on 12-12-2013 at 2.30 pm Wife and me went to Uscis office in Jacksonville FL. Reach there at 2.10 Pm put my interview letter in a tray and was called for my left and right index printing. They told me to have a seat and wait, So i waited untill 2.35 Pm when i a nice woman about in her 40s called my name and took me to her office ,asked me to raise my hand and tell the truth to which i said yes i do. then she asked me to put all my paper work on the chair next to me. she said dont keep your paper work on the table cus you will be signing soo many papers.

She said i am sorry that her computer was running slow, i told her i fix computers she laughed and said but you can not look at my computer.I was like ok.

she asked me for my address and confirmed my social security number and phone number which i said thats correct and she started going through my whole A-File looking and papers reading some kind of codes, sometimes she flipped papers fast from the bottom of the file i think she was just making sure that papers were in order.She said she know that i traveled 5 hours to Jacksonville office for interview and traveled all the way to New Orleans for my biometrics , I said yes to which she said they should make an office in my area where all the people from my area and other cities will go for biometrics and interviews, heres a weird thing that Tallahassee FL is the capital of Florida and is closer to me than jacksonville and uscis dont have any office there.

I told her if she approves me and i become US Citizen i will be writing alot of letters to Senators and Uscis and Congress to make atleast one office in Tallahassee which will take off so much burden from applicants and uscis office in jacksonville.She said yes its your right to write to senators and congress men, and its a good thing that you are thinking about others while you are already done with most of this traveling trips from this uscis to that uscis.as i was talking very professional with her instead of using shot words , right that time i started coughing because of sore throat , and the coughing was not going away i asked her where i can get some water, she got up and gave me some water and told me she been working there for more than a year and half she i was second person that asked her for water. i drank some water and said i must be some lucky one then... lol

Then she asked me if i was ready for the test,

She asked me to read a sentence which was ( when is the Columbus Day ) i read it then she told me to write Columbus day is in October.She said good good, and then went on civic questions,

Question :

What is one part of the Governoment.

I said President, Congress , Courts and and and and she said i asked you only one part of Governoment,

i forgot what else questions were asked to me but man they were very very simple questions and this part was done in less than 2 minutes , I know when i was answering questions she was also writing my answers on the paper very fast.After the civics she said good you passed . It was very easy interview.

Then she started to stamp dates on my A-File pages and checking with some details in the end she brought out a big huge APPROVED stamp that was even bigger than the Action Block located on first page on right of N400.

gave me some papers to sing like my name change petition, last page of N-400 ,

she also asked me if i was a communist, drug addict,Some of the Yes/No Questions.

and we were done with the interview.Gave me a aproval page which says Congratulations You passed and you are approved ,and escorted me out.

me and wife went back to the hotel , my wife met some girl there my wife wanted to chat with that girl on yahoo messenger later on , wife could not find any paper so wife tore a big piece of my approval notice (which was given to me at the end of the interview ) and wrote her email address and gave it to that girl.

I found out about this later on as i was looking for that paper and that paper is in half, ,,

Here are the key words : dont be nervous at your interview try to be confident cus immigration officers are humans just like we are , dont try to argue with IO , Tell them truth, civic questions test for you is already printed out before your interview by uscis and IO dont have a choice of asking you their own civic questions because questions sheet is already provided to uscis officer to which IO have to write your answers on. bring all the supporting documents with you, IO already goes through your file before your interview and they mark things which are question able or red flag , try to make eye contact with IO when hard questions comes out from your file Tell the Truth,

and Most important thing : keep your Approval Notice away from your wife. hhhhhhh
