I received another email last night saying that my interview has been scheduled. Is there a way to find out the date of the interview before receiving the letter?

Yes there is:

Tonight before you go to sleep. have half mango, 2 oranges, 1 1/2 banana, 3 kiwis, and go to sleep, between 1 am and 2 am you should have a dream of your up coming interview date. J/K

I think you'l have your letter in your hands in 3 or 4 days , If you cant wait then call 1800 number and speak to tier 2 officer, and he/she should be able to tell you the date. But i would say calling 1800 number would be overkill, just wait couple of days for mail.

I just need to set my December work schedule (I am a busy person) and wanted to know ahead of time when I will have to block a couple of hours in my calendar to attend the interview. I called the 1800 number but they weren't able to tell me anything. At this point I guess I will receive the letter by Saturday (hopefully).

I saw on my case update that as of yesterday, the 8th, I've been scheduled for my interview!! WHEEEE!!

Got my interview letter today, December 18 in Chatsworth, CA. Kind of surprised that it's not in downtown LA but also glad because it's less of a drive! Wheeee!!

Also I am super stoked because....we are expecting our first baby in May and this means I'll be a Citizen well before baby gets here! Let's hope that I can keep pregnancy brain at bay during the test, haha!
