Many engineering disciplines are impacted by the state of the US. What is your specialty ? The best thing is to network and spread your resume to as many places as you can find. Try applying just below where you want, there are so many US citizens out of work that every negative you may have will mean a harder job search.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Well i am the permanent resident of the united states since jan 2011, then i go the permit till march 2014, right now i am working as an engineer in the Pakistan since Nov 2012. I want to get job as an engineer (CIVIL ENGINEER), any word of advice.????? plzzz

If you are a permanent resident since 2011 and you have lived in Pakistan since 2012 then you are no longer a permanent resident because you don't live in the US any more.

What kind of advice do you want? You didn't ask any question except "help."

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Search for (I think) the Society of Civil Engineers, and read their articles and look at their job postings.
