I am going through the flowchart and have now gotten to the I-864 form. We are still on the k1 visa and I need to go through the rest of the process now.

I gave them copies of my tax records, bank statements, w2 forms etc... previously and now I see the I-864 form which is asking me to do basically the same thing again, is that correct? Do I need to do this form?

The I-134 is used for the K-1 visa interview. You will need the I-864 later when filing for adjustment of status after you are married. So yes, you have to provide an affidavit of support twice throughout the whole process.
