Scheduling interview -- very few dates available?

We are scheduling the consulate interview and I'm surprised to find that in the month of September only the 10th and 11th are available. Then it jumps to October 24th. Yikes......why?

The 11th creates problems as we haven't even received our MNL# confirmation from NVV--and if we can't get an email confirmation by next Tuesday Juliet's medical appointment will be lost. Since we have not received the email confirmation I'm suspecting that we aren't going to get one, that for some reason none was sent when it should have been sent. I'm on the loooooooooooooooong hold with NCV hoping to get one sent today. Monday is a holiday and the only other available day will be Tuesday, other than that the appointment will be

Is this normal to see only a few days available in each month?

Edit: After a long hold at NVC the CS rep Sarah stated: "We will send you an email within three business days." I stated: "that won't work for me because Monday is a holiday, so that three days would put the email two days late and if I cannot get confirmation that we'll receive the email by Tuesday at the latest I'll ask Congresswoman Ann Kusker to intervene", then I asked for a supervisor."

After another fifteen minute hold I talked to Supervisor Marco who promptly agreed to send me an email and did so in about ten minutes.

Sweet!

I don't know whats going on with the appointment dates, but i had to schedule mine for

October too. But, I wouldn't hesitate at all on scheduling your appointment. It actually

gives you more time to get everythnig together and make sure that you don't make any

errors... Good Luck....

When I scheduled my Fiance to get his interview done, I saw "September 11& 12" available, then jumps towards the end of October. I know how much it sucks, but if you schedule the interview and print the confirmation letter that you get from the email, then you should be fine.. although, my fiance was asked to have the email or letter in hand, I called SLEC and told them our situation, that it has been weeks since I emailed NVC and that I haven't received the letter yet, either. And then, at the end of the day, my fiance just told them our situation one more time, and they let him go and didn't require for him to come back for the NVC letter.

Goodluck!!!

On October 2013, our I-129F Refused under 221(g)

So our son and I went back home to the PHL..

You have your MNL # ? Then don't worry too much about getting the hardcopy notice from NVC, get scheduled. The 10 or 11th may be pushing it depending if NVC has sent your file to USEM yet.

The problem right now with scheduling is that the flooding causes the embassy to close so there are lots of people that rescheduled and pretty much took everything in September.

What's USEM mean Hank? From what I can tell it seems that Manila has our file already.

Thanks for the explanation, I had forgotten about the floods in Manila.

By all means, schedule online as soon as you have your MNL #. Then... call and talk to a human, if you can. I seem to recall someone (maybe two someones?) who called and got an earlier date than what the online calendar was showing. It's worth the price of the call, IMHO.

Juliet here,

I have my interview date set on September 11th at 7:30. Should I be ok to have my medical on the 4th?

Steve doesn't want to wait 'til the end of October.

We have an appointment letter but it doesn't have an MNL# on it. Though we have the NVC letter just today so I guess we're good?

Thanks guys!

St. Lukes does not require a letter nor an email from the NVC in order for K-1ers to be admitted for the medical. An interview confirmation printout and a verbal MNL case number work just fine.

That's a lot of September dates taken just from a few missed days in August. I think there is another reason for the lack of available slots in September and October.

The only date available on October are 28 and 29, I choose to schedule my appointment interview on October 28th since I can't choose Sept. 12 'cause I will just be having my medical next week due to period.

Just want to ask if it is possible to reschedule my appointment maybe 3rd week of September through phone or call center representative?

Yes it's possible to reschedule. You can reschedule twice without a problem.

Hello Hank, I can reschedule twice online? But how, if the calendar looks like this? All dates are blocked. Perhaps I'll just rescheduled through phone.
