That is correct. It is the error you will receive right before they generate the AOS or IV bills.

Thank you very much NLR, appreciate your response.

Thats right, as soon as I saw that sentence: 1st thing it came into my mind that they might have end the case without AOS and IV form and sent it to Embassy ? or they simply cancelled my application and now the whole 2 yrs we spent apart hoping we will be together soon just got destroyed for no reason. Thank you very much NLR, appreciate your response. Now I can sleep tonight with peace.

email your ds3032 NOW even if your case does not show online yet... your case takes a day or three to finally show online. ds-3032 takes 1-3 weeks to get accepted.. once accepted you can access the IV templates... the AOS templates will be available once you go live in the system.

Thank you for the information. DS-3032 has been emailed. Since EP isn't available, how would my processing be different? Do I have to mail AOS and IV? Do I pay the fees online?

We received checklists for a couple items that were already in the AOS packages - actually exact same checklist for both my wife and stepson's seperate AOS packages. I called NVC and spoke to customer service. They said if the items were in the original AOS package, they would mark the cases for "Supervisor Review" and it would take another 2 weeks before anyone would look at it again. It isn't very nice to get a 2 week delay because someone couldn't take the time to properly review the documents.

Has this happened to anyone else? 100% sure both items were in both packages and documented on both cover sheets. I originally thought they might be false checklists, but there were specific items listed, so I figured they must be real checklists.

There is a whole new level of sloppy at the NVC. I have not personally seen the inside, but I envision stacks of lazily thrown papers on 2 desks with a big man and a whip.

I really wish cases were assigned to an actual individual you could speak to and who personally opens and handles all mailings. I have a gut feeling that even my checklist, which had one simple correction (NVC actually said the value to put in the field) is going to be re-reviewed from scratch. In anticipation I re-supplied tax and paystub information.

In other news, over 3-business weeks and no word on our DS-230 yet. They really do take that 20-business-day thing seriously.

Hello all,

Today I signed into CEAC website to check whether NVC generated AOS bill or not, surprisingly I got the message "This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, pleasecontact the NVC immediately."

I immediately Called NVC and the operator told me that they are on the process of generating AOS bill for the case, so I am getting this message. I really dont trust these customer service people, is it right? or they terminated my case for different reason?

Please let us know if you guys know whats going on with our case.

Thank you

Don't worry, that message got it yesterday, but now i can see AOS invoice page smile.png

We both got case number on the same day, hope you will be able to pay today.

some folks wait until it goes paid, some send it right away

both aos and IV are separate tracks and can be filed separately without hindering your process

A question for the AOS experts here.....

I am qualifying on assets only since I am unemployed. I am well above the 3Xpoverty level and also well above 3X1.25poverty level (by 40% on this one)

As I read the guidelines, as long as I have met this requirement, the Consular Officer is obligated to accept my AOS for my spouse.

Is this correct??? Saylin?? anyone??

As long as you're above 3 times the poverty level with assets, NVC should accept your AOS papers. You may get a false checklist saying they've accepted it, but you may need a co-sponsor for the interview.

Consular Officers are not obligated to accept anything. They pretty much have their own rules and can do what they want. Sad, but true. Should they accept it? Yes. Will they? Who knows. Only time will tell.

My advice: have a co-sponsor lined up with all the necessary papers and bring that to the interview. If for whatever reason the CO doesn't like your AOS paperwork, you can then present the co-sponsor paperwork without any delays.
