Is it under supervisor review or regular review? If a supervisor is going to review it, it should be faster. Have you called up since 9/13 to see what the status is?

But last Monday was 8 business days ago. A lot could have happened by then. Call up and see if anything's changed.

hello everybody.. september NVCer here. got NOA2 dated august 30..today i received email stating case number beneficiary ID and Invoice number.

sent d-261 online and paid AOS fee today. my printer decided to run out of ink just before printing cover sheet such luck. will be until monday when new ink arrives. but anyways im.quite happy with my progress.

So, I read in post 1 and 2 that after we get our stuff into the NVC, we are supposed to call them everyday to see if our case has been completed. What exactly am I to say? And if it has been completed, what do I say?

Just ask:

-"What's the status of my AOS package?"

-"What's the status of my IV package?"

Once both are accepted, then the case is completed. If they tell you it's completed, say thanks! Then you can start calling every day (or how often you wish) to see if an interview date has been assigned.

Keep in mind, calling throughout the NVC process is completely OPTIONAL. You don't need to call at all if you don't wish. But, if you want to stay as up to date as possible, then I recommend calling.

Unfortunately, some operators could care less about your questions and just want to read off a standard line and get you off the phone as soon as they can. Others though, actually take the time to answer your questions and seem real sincere. If you get one of the former operators, just hang up and try again until you get one of the latter operators. Hi Guys Can anybody tell me about this i called the NVC today just now and i am asking what's my case status and the representative said my case was complete yesterday sep 19 but till now i havent received any email from the NVC that my case is complete.. or are they just gonna email u if the interview is scheduled already? any idea guys? or because the ds-260 i fill up online last SEPT 12 thats whay i didnt received any email from them yet?

Although case complete emails are becoming more common with non-EP cases, it's still not 100%. Plus, if your case was just complete yesterday, it can take quite a few days for you to actually get the email. Could take a week or longer. This is why I always recommend calling as emails can take 1 week or more to receive.

status: Case Complete, 19 SEP 2013.

as to any 'email' - it'####### or miss, for non-EP cases, for an email containing 'case-complete' information.

HOWEVER - pay attention to email, the next 'official' email will be the interview appointment letter.

Hi everyone,

My hubby got the mail from NVC with case number in it.

Just wanna ask about next step, he already filed the forms I-864 and DS-3032 .

But when we enter the case number at CEAC webpage we saw that he need to fill the DS-261 form online?

Should he send DS-261 instead of DS 3032

Please help and thanks a lot
