Getting to Batangas...

My buddy arranged for us to stay at his sister's resort in Brgy. Imelda, San Juan. Would it be feasible for first-timers to get close via public transportation? He offered to send a driver, but I told him we'll try to make it at least to Batangas City on our own if it's not too much of a hassle.

Can someone advise me how to get there from the Embassy area?

Its easy mostly from Manila to Batangas and the buses are fairly nice (some even with wifi now) Just have to figure out what bus station to get to. The locals should know
