I'm a USC, my wife is Canadian, from Ontario. She grew up across the Detroit River in Windsor, so she was very familiar with the US before she moved here. She had a bit of an adjustment period the first year or so. The toughest part was/is being away from her family, but that has seemed to ease a bit as time goes on. I try to get her home about twice a year to see everyone. Other than her family, I think she misses Tim Hortons the most. I do wish we had real Canadian Bacon/Pemeal Bacon and Tim Hortons here in Mass. Tim Hortons coffee is the best.

There is a forum dedicated to Canadians here, you will get some good info there on anything you need.

himher - surely the slow but steady movement in the poll numbers over the last 20 years in the direction of SSM acceptance hasn't escaped your notice?

not saying you should accept it. that's your choice. but your fellow countrymen and countrywomen, in increasing numbers, are.

Didn't say it was right or wrong. I disagree that it's "natural" and did say that the community should shoulder the medical costs associated with the consequences of the lifestyle. It did not escape my notice that we are sharing the cost of lifetime treatment for over a half million gay men and for what? Something natural that they "cant help?"
