Sounds a lot like that outpouring of support for gun control that never appeared and that outpouring of support for public healthcare that is so important we have to spend tens of millions of dollars to educate people who don't care enough to check about it

You might as well get used to the whole same sex marriage thing. It's not going to go away. Accept it, or move. Though many other countries are legalizing as well. I'm sure you can find somewhere to go though.
