Gun owners are a prejudiced class of people? No, just a group that often has members that say and/or do embarrassing or worse things that make them seem odd.

Yes people are born black but you (and so many others) are duped into believing homosexuality is a genetic condition peeps are born with.

There just is no conclusive proof or agreement on that theory.

It might be possible SOME people are gay due to a natural or genetic cause but to claim all are "born that way" is highly dubious.... kinda like claiming all people who suffer from mental disorders are born that way.

Oh I know it's a "right to bear arms to form a well armed militia" or something along those lines.

But I still stand by education should be had, safe storage and some screening (no guns if you're mentally unstable or have criminal past). That is why I say privilege not a right. Similar to driving.

Maybe it is however I am wondering though how much 630,000 aids-infected gay men have cost us (including the 32,000 newly diagnosed in 2011, last reporting year) and if maybe there should be a special tax on that community to cover the additional medical costs of living that lifestyle. The rest of us after all really do not feel that we should shoulder the costs of what has been statistically demonstrated to be a high-risk lifestyle. It is this and only this that causes it to be viewed as a social ill, pun definitely and deliberately intended by the term ill, and sharing the burden of that naturally triggers resentment.

With that said - if you like your peanut butter stirred from time to time - each to their own especially if one is prepared to shoulder the cost of potential consequences. At this time the rest of us are sharing it.

Call that anti-gay if you want. When 4% of the population represent the source of 3/4 of a deadly preventable disease there is a problem.

I've never heard a single gay person claim they chose to be gay. Since when is sexual orientation, gay OR straight, a choice? When is that choice made? I certainly never chose to be straight. I don't believe that people can choose who/what they are attracted to.
